WiFi & RJ45 Ethernet Cable
The GS1-AETH version supports both 2.4GHz WiFi and RJ45 Ethernet cable. This ensures usage in conditions when WiFi is not available and better network connection.
Multiple External Probes
With embedded RS485 interface, the GS1 supports many types of probes, such as TH30S-B, Soil moisture, PT-100, etc. All the readings can be viewed on the screen by switching them one by one.

It is convenient to charge the 2900 mAh internal lithium battery: Type-C USB (USB cable included), DC 5V-12V (charger is not provided), PoE cable (PoE splitter is optional). Each way is available for the device.
CONVENIENT TEMPERATURE MONITORING IN THE SERVER ROOM
Data processing requires a lot of energy, making server rooms warm to the point that this can be damaging to all of the stored information in there. To avoid the sudden overhigh temperature, you don't need to keep the air conditioner working all the time. Deploy one Ubibot device in the room, power it with the Ethernet cable, and set an alert rule for the critical value. You will be aware of the temperature changes so you can turn on the air conditioner in time. We work with IFTTT (if this then that), it can benefit the way of manual operation.

The networking on this device is brutal. Purchased so could use ethernet. There is 0 information for ethernet on device, in console or bound site. No way to retrieve the MAC address which is needed for dhcp reservations and filters. Doesn't matter because the ethernet connects and drops.Then the wifi. You better only have a couple of SSIDs available. Everytime we scan for wifi it has different results. Sometimes it shows 2 available some times 6 and never the one we need. Business, school, etc have multiple SSID on same access points. So it is not an issue of reaching the access point.Not sure I have ever seen networking so poor on something so dependant on it. Or do they think I am going to have it plugged into a computer constantly.

We've been looking for a reliable temperature monitoring system for our outdoor walk-in coolers for ages. This was easy to set up, works over ethernet, and the app does not require a subscription. We bought an additional power over ethernet to USB C converter so that the devise can be charged and communicate through one ethernet line. I would highly recommend for applications where WIFI and Bluetooth communications are not effective!

Very quick and easy setup. Have purchased 6 units and all work perfectly. Cloud data storage is seamless and essential. Web site to report data is simple to navigate and configure. API from website allows data to be used in other contexts for further analysis.

Right off the hop it was a nightmare to register and account. Tried on the app and on the PC download. If you want help you have to open a ticket and wait.Very disappointed. This wasn't the cheapest logger out there.

This is an Excellent Environment Monitoring System.It has great alert and notification system.Not very complex to set up and does not come with unpleaseant glitches or bugs.Once calibrated, this can be used in an industrial environment.Great addition to a data center.

I gave this a 4 because it was difficult to setup but once set up it works well and is a good product. Will email if temperature get to high. I have it email my text message on my phone.

This works well, and I had no problems with the setup. My problem is that it frequently goes offline when the temperature drops below about 30 degrees.The unit returns online by itself and then works reliably until the temp goes down again.

Listing indicated that data recorder can be powered by Power Over Ethernet (PoE). This IS NOT TRUE!. To power this device with PoE, you will need to PURCHASE an additional PoE splitter.

This relates to the Ubibot GS1-A WiFi Thermometer Hygrometer.This is a great product and I have been using it reliably for several months in a greenhouse environment. The build quality is excellent and the stats are clearly readable on the large screen under different lighting conditions. The sensors appear to be very accurate also which is all important. My greenhouse is obviously outside and this GS1-A has no problem connecting to my router via wifi which is located within the house several meters away. The initial setup went smoothly and it was up and running within a few minutes. I am powering this using the built in battery and the estimate of 4-6 month run time is accurate - I have run it for at least 4 months before having to charge it again. I have configured it to send readings every 15 minutes - the frequent it sends data will affect battery life.I also think both the Android app and the Ubibot website are both great to look at the real time/historical stats and they offer some advanced features too. One feature I have taken advantage of is the ITTT integration and I have configured ITTT to send notifications to my Alexa devices if the temperature falls outside the range I have set. I have only done this as I'm a bit geeky, although it has proved to be quite handy on several occasions as it has reminded me to go and open my greenhouse windows on warm days. It's worth mentioning that within the app/website, you can also configure the device to send you email, Push, SMS notifications etc. without the need for any 3rd party services such as ITTT. The ITTT integration would also be ideal for home automation rules based on the sensor readings of the GS1-A. For example, you could configure it to automatically power on heating/cooling appliances based on any of the sensor readings.I was so pleased with this device I purchased a second GS1-A for my father to use in his greenhouse too. I was however somewhat reluctant whether to get him one initially as his greenhouse is at the bottom of quite a long garden and his wifi router is at the opposite side of the house in relation to the garden, significantly further away than mine is so I wasn't sure if it would be able to connect via wireless. I can report it does remain connected over wifi without any problems despite it being 20-30m away and with a few walls in between! Needless to say, my father is also delighted with his thermostat too.I did consider the Ethernet version which I could have still connected via wifi. I considered this as the light sensor feature would have been beneficial within my greenhouse environment. However I decided not to opt for that model as all the info I could find suggested the battery on that device only lasts weeks rather than months. Despite the GS1-A model not having a light sensor, I am still very pleased with my purchase and anyone reading this will probably already know there are many similar products to choose from; whilst there are many cheaper products available, this is a professional grade device, it has some very useful features within the application and on the Ubibot website. I would highly recommend this product and suggest you look no further if you're in the market for a such a device.
