I usually avoid cheaper lights, bc ones I have tried in the past were a harder light or I otherwise didn't like the quality of the light, or they were just built really janky and cheap. But I really needed something portable, so I decided to give this light a chance. I got the pink color and I love it!! Very happy with the quality of light! And really affordable for this quality, you could spend double the amount for the same!! Also good quality build and functionality. Easy to set up, I did it in 5 mins. I haven't tried the remote so I can't speak to that, but I rarely use remotes so that's not a focus for me. Thank you I love the light AND the pink color!! :)

Holy moly! This is the BEST THING EVER! I actually bought this because of a recommendation from a TikToker that I follow, and I’m SO glad I listened to her! This is the coolest contraption! First - This is a great price for what you get! I mean, I would literally pay $60 for something like this (easily) and it would still be worth the price. Second - I love how versatile it is! There are three different types of light settings (blue, bright, and yellow... those are just my names for them!). And each light setting can also be dimmed down or brightened up about 5x up or down. So there are about 15 different light settings included with this. There’s also four different heights it can be set to. Personally, I prefer the tallest one because it’s right at about my height and it’s even with my face when I’m standing up (I’m 5’6”). So that’s a major plus! But you can use any of the other 3 settings for whatever your needs are. It’s super easy to switch between the different heights. It’s basically just a clip that you undo and then you just re-clip it when you have the height you need or want. Third - This remote that it came with is the bomb!! I’m happy with just this alone LOL. I can use it for videos AND pictures! And it’s so simple, and so fast. There’s absolutely no delay time between when I press the remote button and when my phone’s camera responds. Fourth - It fits my huge phone! I currently have an iPhone 11 Pro Max with a bulky case and a Popsocket on it, and I was able to fit my phone with both the case and Popsocket in the mount holder with no problems (horizontally and vertically). On both settings, my phone felt secure. Vertically, I was concerned it would slowly start to fall out but the mount gripped my phone really well! Fifth - The size of this ring light for the cost is like buying a professional one for a 10th of the cost. Those professional ones are hundreds of dollars! This, in my opinion, is just as amazing as those, if not better!!! Seriously. If you’ve been looking for a ring light for a while, stop looking right now and buy this. Period. You truly will not regret it. I’m not being paid to write this and I’m not writing it for any other reason than to share my thoughts with you guys. The packaging was nice and efficient. It came with directions for assembly as well as directions for pairing the little remote with your phone (iOS and/or Android!). The USB cord that the ring light needs to be plugged in with is fairly long so you can put it wherever you need to. But you can also connect it to a power bank and take it out with you anywhere you want since it’s just a USB connection. And finally, I haven’t noticed any wobbling or loose parts yet. It is very sturdy. Doesn’t move around at all when I’m changing the heights or anything. And overall, it just seems to be made really well. It’s a great product. Please note: In my pictures, the first 6 are of the 3 different light settings (1 picture for lowest setting & 1 for highest setting of each light color, so 2 pics per light color). The following pictures are just showing you some of the parts it came with like the remote and the control buttons for the ring light. And the last few pictures are just random. The ring light came with a nice soft case to carry it in if you choose to travel with it. It also came with an extra piece for your cell phone that screws on top where the ring light is if you choose to use this as ONLY a selfie stick (which they say it can be used for easily). If you’re familiar, the screw for the light and the cell phone mount piece at the top is just like the screws used for mounting a GoPro on a stand like this. So I think you could even mount a GoPro at the top (in place of the light) if you wanted to. And the last 4 pictures are just showing you the different height settings. I also included one picture of the back of the light which is just a plain black plastic material, and one picture of a standard plastic water bottle next to the light for easy size reference.Please feel free to comment on my reviews if you have any questions at all. The tripod is very sturdy and easy to set up. The phone holder feels secure and easy to attach. The light has different shades to accommodate your needs and works nicely. I like that the power source has a usb connection so you can insert it to an external battery for mobility and you're not stuck to a wall plug.I put a small hand mirror in the phone holder and positioned the light so I could do my makeup. Dual purpose! I also used it as a night light. = )The remote gets a little wonky when testing it. It paired quickly but sometimes there is a delay when I press the button to when it actually takes the picture. there are two buttons labeled, iOS and Android. I have an android and both buttons will work on my phone. For me, the wonky remote doesn't bother me as my phone can take a pic with a hand gesture, and there is always the timer feature. I'm guessing remotes may become obsolete.Overall, mostly satisfied that it feels sturdy. The phone holder is also adjustable so its easy to get the right angle. the part that actually holds your phone is padded so there is a level of confidence that it is snug in the holder and it won't scratch your phone. Good buy for the price.

Only been using this for a couple of weeks, but very pleased so far. I'm using the ring light in my home podcasting studio where I also do some video blogging and lots of video calls. Wanted to improve on the lighting and video quality and this does the trick. I have a photography background and have several big studio lighting kits, but they take up way too much space to use in this small office and are totally overkill.The 8" ring light takes up very little space. I have the tripod (which is surprisingly sturdy) set up on my desk. It's not as small of a footprint as a regular lamp, but FAR more effective. The controls couldn't be easier. The 3 color temperature settings work great — it's easy to match the color of the other standing lamp in my studio, and give everything a nice warm glow. This thing is BRIGHT, so I'm using it at about half power.I was expecting the tripod to be junk (and to just replace it with one of my other ones) but it's solid and has really good height variables. I wouldn't put a DSLR on it, but for the ring light, it's perfect. I have the cellphone holder attached but haven't used it yet. (I use a DSLR for my camera/webcam.)Haven't used the little remote it came with yet, either, and probably won't. But it's cool that it came with it.All in all, very pleased. Hopefully it's got longevity but, for now, my videos look WAY better.

I received my light yesterday and set it up as soon as I got it. The tripod itself has several different height adjustments, allowing the tripod to be used on a variety of surfaces. The tripod is sturdy, and quite well made. The phone holder expands nicely to fit my iPhone XR, and holds it in place without dropping from the weight of my phone. The light itself is a nice size, with several light settings it’s easy to find the light setting I need. I enjoy how I can move the light around as well depending on where I need it. The light came in a reusable bag for traveling. The Bluetooth button works great however on some of my “camera” apps it changes the volume instead of taking a picture but that isn’t a big deal. Over all for the cost of the light I believe it is a great value, for a great product. I would definitely recommend this light to anyone looking for a smaller ring light.
