Very pretty blackboard that has a nice colored frame on the outside that wasn't glued together very well, at least on one corner. I had to fix that, but other than that the board wass super easy to unpack and install for use on the wall. Good sized, it leaves plenty of space to write down your schedule. Good price, and I love the pencils they have with it for writing on the board with! Definitely not the type of board to get chalk erasers for--skip to a rag and water when you need to fix errors

I love a good organized calendar and this black chalkboard is perfect! I use neon chalk markers and have had no issues With them smudging or cleaning off when it’s time to change the calendar. Love this so much!

This is my first time using a chalk calendar, and it's neat! My preschooler enjoyed trying to fill it in for me (notice the missing number "4"😄), and the pencil wrote easily and smoothly. Unfortunately, one of our pencils arrived broken, and it is very hard to sharpen. A regular sharpener won't work, because it just keeps splintering the wood. I wish this would have arrived with the pencil tips more better protected.

The board is non porous so markers don’t leave a trace after cleaning (bought them separately). Very happy with my calendar. Light weight and easy to handle.
