Looks and feels like a any of the standard hitch bar and ball setups. Quality is great and it fits my receiver like it should. in reality, you just have to trust that the manufacturer is telling the truth about weight ratings no matter who is selling you the product. I don’t normally tow near the ratings so if I were really towing 7500#s I would probably buy a solid steel ball mount rated for 10,000+ pounds and deal with the weight difference and increased cost.

Received the day before going out of town towing a trailer. Fit so loose and sloppy into the receiver that I couldn't get up to full expressway speeds. Anything over 65 mph you could hear this drop hitch banging around and then the trailer would start to sway. Also, while tightening the ball, the so-called anti-rotate pin folded over allowing the ball to spin. Garbage quality. Returning.

Hefty solid drop hitch. Quality exudes from every pore. Great finish. A real work horse.

Works well at a good price. Just a little loose in the receiver. Works well with no excessive wear to the hitch. Just a little more noise if the trailer doesn't have much weight on it.

Installed on a 2019 Ford Ranger for pulling a 5x10 trailer with lawn equipment. Ball is not mounted and will require large adjustable wrenches to install it. It comes with a pin but I fully recommend purchasing a locking pin. Measure your hitch receiver width prior to getting the locking pin as these tend to come in various sizes.

Looked around online for a drop hitch checking for the best price. I thought it was probably going to be a little rough but still plenty strong. I was pleasantly surprised that this hitch looks every bit as good as the most expensive and also appears to be strongly built. There is a small nib that keeps the ball from turning when you tighten it down which is a nice feature. Came with the ball and pin. One of my best purchases.
