I buy these suits a lot as I swim a long distance multiple times a week. I like the fit and there are several good color options. The biggest issue I have it that they lose their elasticity relatively quickly. If they were more expensive I'd probably look for another option but for the price I know I just need to order another soon.

This is my 3rd TYR swimsuit in the past 3 years. The first 2 were TYR Alliance T-Splice Maxfit that lasted for 1.5 years each. I hand wash in cold water and dry flat after every use. The color starts to fade and the fabric gets stretched thin in 1 year if you are swimming regularly.Sizing: I know TYR sizing very well by now. Up to 2 sizes up from the size that I got from my measurements.I am 5'3", and weigh between 110-115. My torso measurement (from one shoulder to between legs and up your back to the starting point) gives Size 34. But always Size 36 fits the best. When I was 115 lb, it felt a bit too small and I almost wanted to size up to 38. But when I weigh 110-113 lb, 36 feels only bit tight when I'm putting it on but fits perfectly ok in the water. That's how it's supposed to be. No discomfort during a swim.TYR and Speedo's athletic swimsuits are made small and tight-fit to reduce water resistance. Never go with the Amazon size recommendations because they go by your regular top and bottom sizes and do not take into account body proportion. (Amazon suggested 30 to me for this swimsuit - there's no way I could put in even a leg.) If you have a long torso like me, TYR's torso measurement will give you a good estimate, and if you have big chest or butt, size up. I am flat-chested and flat-bottomed, but have a wide frame, so I go up from 34 (my measurements) to 36.I hope this helps.

I’ve purchased TYR diamond fit suits for years. The straps provide enough support without cutting into my arms/shoulders. There is enough coverage so I can swim laps without tugging or worrying. This year was the first time I tried this “hexa” suit. The cut and quality was the same. I do believe it lasted a bit longer through a season in the chlorine than the others did. It became my “go-to” suit and I will be buying more. (It’s also prettier than the solid diamond back suits.)

I got this suit for lap swimming twice a week. It is a great suit, good compression and nice fit. Not too high cut and decent bum coverage without being completely old lady style. I am 5’4 135#, 34 A, pear shaped athletic build with a booty. I got a 36. It fits well, but after wearing I could have went to a 34. It is a little long in the torso.

I really like these swimsuits. This is my 3rd swimsuit with this style/make. Yeah they fade after time but hold up well. I swim in a pool everyday. Sometimes twice in the morning and at night. I lap swim and like to do Aqua aerobics too. They stay tight and don't move. So I'm not adjusting my swimsuit. I'm a size 34, 5.1 height, and weight about 130lbs. I'm curvy, not thin or regular body build. And it fits me perfect a little snug but not tight. I did noticed that after a month the stitches or stitching was fading and after 4 months it black and green was fading a lot. Because I swim everyday. I have to replace my swimsuits about every 9 months to a year. Because they do fade, stretch out in the tummy area. And the chemicals from the pool eat away the straps. And like most swimsuits, you can start to be see through it . So every year. I buy a couple of new swimsuits and I have been getting this one/style.

Definitely size up with this one! I originally ordered my regular size and it was too small, so I returned it for a larger size. It's still a snug fit but much more reasonable, and it has already stretched a little after a couple of swims. I've had TYR suits for years and they're such good quality. Despite the narrow straps on this one, they're sturdy and I feel supported when wearing it. A great suit for fitness swimming!

This is the standard cut and size I usually wear for training. However, note that the Durafast Lite is not Tyr's most durable fabric, as claimed in the description--in fact it'sthe opposite. Durafast One or Durafast Elite are the longer lasting ones. Lite is the least long lasting option. After a few months, this one is already nearly done--it's going saggy. By comparison I have a Durafast One in the same size and cut which has lasted me several years now.
