I am athletic woman 5' 7", 126 pds. I usually wear a size 4 or 6. I ordered a 34 and a 36 in this swimsuit and it is still too short. This bathing suit is for either Juniors. I don't appreciate the misleading marketing. What a waste of time.

I read the reviews about it running small. I'm 5ft 9.5 inches, slim with a BMI of 18.2. I ordered a 38/XL and it fits great!

We got this as an extra practice suit and it's nice that it ties in with the school colors. Great material and so far durability has lasted us thru the season. The size worked out, we have gotten this brand before so it fit the same as other suits.

Blue and Gold are my Sorority colors. Love the vibrant colors. Looks really great on, but runs small. Haven’t been in the water yet.

This is the second time I have purchased this style suit for lap swimming. I like the style, but this time the fabric doesn’t seem as thick as the first suit I purchased. The bottom area also seems a little loose, but that could be my issue not an issue with the suit. Overall I still like this style and would recommend even with the fabric being a little different.

I swim at least twice a week in chlorinated, salt and freshwater and I have bought TYR costumes for several years but lately the size 38 (which has always fitted) is now much too small (I haven't put on weight) and the costumes go baggy much sooner than previously. They are also very difficult for me to exchange living in a rural location with no easy pick-up spots and the bother of having to provide 3 copies of the invoice with each one. I am definitely looking at other brands now

This is my third TYR swimsuit to own in this exact style and design. Part of that is my personality- I could eat oatmeal for breakfast everyday forever and be happy as a clam- but part of it (really most of it in this instance), is that I love quality products. I spend inordinate amounts of time researching my decisions, and when I find something that works well I stick with it. This is a high quality swimsuit that if you wash it promptly after using and dry flat it will last years of moderate usage. I mostly am a runner and swim as cross training (or when I am injured), so I am sure it would need to be replaced more often if you swim everyday. Regarding fit, it runs small, but all swimsuits do. You want it to fit tight when you first try it on. Tighter than you think!! It definitely stretches out over time. I had a 38 that fit me (I am around 5'2", 130 pounds) straight out of the box but it stretched a lot (especially after using over a year) and had an awkward few inches that hung down at the bottom. Reordered in a 34 and it was definitely tight first trying it on. I ALMOST exchanged sizes. But decided to test it out and am happy I stuck with the smaller size. Reduces drag in the pool and already feels comfortable to wear. The placement of these stripes really are flattering, even if you have an apple shaped figure (as I do). I appreciate this because so many patterns on swimsuits call attention to my body shape in a way I don't love. Swimsuits are already probably not a women's top choice of wear, so finding something that makes you feel confident is important. It is definitely quality and I appreciate the thicker straps on the back. Give it a try!

So I don't think one pieces are often very flattering, just the nature of the beast there. But I think that this is pretty flattering, with the higher-but-not-too-high cut of the legs, as well as the red swirl design.I will say that despite what some other reviews say that it is true to fit, I think that it runs small and here's why: I am pear shaped - my bottom is bigger than my top (I'm a 34A on top), but I wear a size 6 in pants and a 2 or 4 in dresses from the Gap, Banana Republic and JCrew. If memory serves, according to the sizing chart, I should wear a 32. Because I'm a pear, I actually went to a local store that was selling this suit for quite a bit more and tried on the sizes. A 32 technically fit, but it was tight and my body spilled out of it. Especially in the back, where there is a lower-back cut out at the top of the butt - that was not attractive in the smaller sizes (but again, I'm a pear and that's my problem area). The 36 still fits well without it being so tight I overflow in it. I realize that swimsuits seem to run small in general, as I typically go up a size in swimsuits overall. I'm thinking that maybe the other reviewers are used to this going up a size and didn't think of it, or maybe it's just because I'm a pear that I had this experience. I am not a swim-racer, so I am just going to the pool, swimming my laps, then playing in the water or reading poolside. But my advice is to go up a size or even two. The fabric is giving but not too giving, so I think there is a good amount of leeway you can do.It does not ride up in the back, no wedgies at all - not one, not even off the high dive! And the straps have not felt like they are going to fall down, much less actually fall down. It is very comfortable!!The fabric is great - it is lined and the lining is very nice because it smooths without being bulky. I feel like an athlete in the suit, but more like Serena Williams - stylish too!! It dries quickly and I've been in the water a lot this summer and it still looks brand new yet. I think that I will have this suit for years and years and years.
