I'm using this to train new dental assistants with instrument transfers, taking xrays, rubber dam placement, etc.. The mounting system is very sturdy and will fit a variety of surfaces. It is flexible enough to allow the typodont to be positioned in various position to simulate that of a real patient. One word of caution though, the C clamp is very sturdy so care should be taken when clamping to a natural stone surface (eg marble, granite, quartz, etc.) that you don't accidentally damage the countertop. I wish I had something like this when I was in dental school...

Exactly what I needed to mount the typodont on for working on teeth for dental school. Solid build and easy to use. It can attach to a variety of places as long as the C-clamp can fit. It has a wide range of opening for the C-clamp so it can fit a lot of places. It has a flat edge for the typodont to screw onto holding it in place. Great product for any dental professional student to practice in a variety of places.
