My 2012 F-150 tire monitoring dash light kept coming on after 15 minutes of driving bc the battery in one tire monitor was going bad. The tires were about needing to be replaced so didn’t want pay to replace the TPMS for only a short time. Usually the batteries are built in so you replace the unit inside the tire. Well, I got a nail in one sidewall so replaced the tires. Some places won’t install them or charge extra! And then if a battery goes bad you have to get inside the tire to replace it. These screw into the tire stem and this one is easy to replace battery. Also after portable display monitor in the cab is fully charged with USB cable the solar panel keeps it charged which leaves my 12V cig lighter socket free to power my dash camera. Some TMPS units plug into 12V cig lighter.

Bought to install on my wifes Honda Civic. Directions were simple and easy to follow. I had it installed within 10 minutes. She has been using it for several weeks and is pleased with the readability and functions. Works very well for cars that do not have factory PSI sensors.

Works better than the cheaper models. Happy with the product. Disappointed my truck didn't come with one.

Pros: Solar charge is good. You need to charge it only on the first use. It can then use the solar power going forward. I was worried that the display would keep always on but the display auto turns off which is good. As soon as I open the car door, it turns on the display again. So there must be some G-sensor in it. Tire pressure seems to be okay. Don't expect accurate sensing. It will be + or - 3 psi.Cons: Temperature is off. The screen is very very very very cheap. This is the type of screen you would see in 70's kids watch.Bottomline: Buy for tire pressure, not for temperature sensing.
