As with many others, the passenger side window would go down, but fail to go back up without significant help (pulling it up by hand while holding the button). This replacement unit fit perfectly and now the window goes up/down like new.A trick I picked up from another review (not typically seen on YouTube videos), is while replacing the regulator assembly, rather than tape the window up, or use a belt to hold it up, just remove the window from the door. It's trivial to remove it. After removing the two bolts holding the window to the regulator (before removing the regulator mounting bolts), just lift the window straight up, then tilt it so the narrow end is facing down, and the window easily lifts out of the door from the outside. Set it (safely) aside and then remove/replace the regulator assembly. Once the new regulator is mounted, the window is returned to the door, narrow end down, then rotated once in the door and dropped into the regulator carriage. This technique is much faster, and with the window out of the way, the regulator assembly is much easier to remove/replace.

The only reason 4 and not 5 stars is that the bottom bar looks like it is attached at the motor (like what was in my car)... but it is not attached. It still works just fine, but took me a bit to figure out how to install it. Glad to be able to use the window again.

Replaced a 1999 Toyota Passenger Side power window regulator assembly that was failing. The whole unit was replaced, and now the window is working well again. It was easy to replace the assembly and motor as one unit. If you have all the necessary tools, the work can be done fairly quickly...under an hour, if you're fast! There are some descriptive videos on youtube that were invaluable in demonstrating how to take the door trim off, and complete the DIY fix, as no instructions are included with the part itself.This part was a perfect non-OEM replacement part, and fit exactly the way it should.Edited Sept 10, 2018: The part failed after a few days of use. It may just be a bad part. I will contact the vendor and update accordingly. Hopefully a replacement will be sent, and I can re-install. The failure seems to be inside the casing where the motor adjusts the gears. When the power is on, the motor runs, (you can hear it, easily), but the tracks do not move. When installed in the vehicle, the motor runs but the window does not move up or down. (I've reinstalled the OEM part until I receive a new replacement. OEM part works as it did before, so installation is NOT the issue). I WAS really happy with the replacement initially, as it was easy to replace, and it did work...until it failed.My review was a 5 star until the part failed. If I receive a working replacement part, I will edit the 3 star rating I edited it to.Edited October 13, 2018: I was able exchange the nonworking part for another one, and this one is currently working properly. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to test it too often as the weather has cooled and the van windows stay up most of the time, now! However, the initial tests have gone well, and I'm hopeful this repair will last for years. Overall, I'm satisfied as this part is a perfect non-OEM replacement and installed easily.

Installed this in a 2002 Toyota Sienna CE (Canadian model but should be the same!) passenger side window. My existing one somehow got bent up and would no longer go down so the hunt was on for a replacement. Most other places want 3 to 4 times the amount so based on the reviews here on Amazon I took a chance and bought a "clone". The packaging was excellent and provided very good protection so I knew the metal arms were not bent up. The motor is set to half open which at least for my Sienna was important since the bolts on the window retainer bracket on the left and right side need the the window about half down to access them. Comparing the OEM Toyota to this one I don't see much of a difference other than the motor is a little larger on the Toyota. That said, this unit is quieter than the old one. Time will tell if it will last but I doubt I'll still have the Sienna when this one fails. It took about 45 minutes to remove the door trim, remove the old motor and arm assembly, install the new one and put back in all the trim. Wear gloves when you're doing this since there are so many sharp edges and you could even get your fingers pinched between the scissor arms if you're not careful. I also replaced the window switch at the same time for good measure (search Amazon.com for "ACI 87807 Door Window Switch") since it was cheap and apparently they do eventually fail. Since you have the door all apart, might as well right?

This part installed easily on my 2003 Toyota Sienna using instructions I found on a car repair wiki. The electrical connecter fit perfectly and the entire assembly works well, but only time will tell whether it is truly a quality product. On the other hand, I saved at least 300 bucks by not taking it to a dealer or mechanic.Which makes me feel great!

The passenger window of my van Sienna 2000 V6 LE intermittently works. I can open the window but I can only intermittently close it especially when starting the car...It took me about 2 hours to install this and the handle and clean up including time to watch removal and installation video on youtube...The window works perfectly. The price is less than half of OEM from the online store
