Gotta have it if you change from incandescent to LED bulbs. This will save you from splicing wires to install resistors. Perfect replacement.

The "LED compatible" lighting control module I had worked fine with the trurn signals but hyper flashed the hazard lights. This one works correctly for both on my PT Cruiser. In my opinion it also has a nice click sound.

Followed the lead from several forums for converting my turn signal bulbs to LED on my 2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ. More people suggested this one over the Tridon EP26 relay, so I bought this one. With just the rear bulbs in it blinked fine, then added the 3rd brake light, and then the back up bulbs, but as soon as I put the front bulbs in I got the hyper flash, and no turn signal function. Now I did purchase the lower cost LED bulbs (not lowest) so that may have an effect on the relay. Plan on buying the Tridon relay soon. I'll update my review then.

this product did the job for which it was intended. Was fairly easy to install and now works properly

Was just what was needed. Was having a fast flasher issue on the driver side with the running lights on after installing LED headlights in my 2003 Jeep TJ. Now working great in both sides.

Bought for my 2005 Jeep TJ. Works great. Four stars since it doesn't tick equally. Thats a small detail

So far I love this item. No side effects sofar. Emergency flasher did not burn out it's fuse, and my turning lights are now in a normal sinc.Bonus, is my LED headlights can run the day time running lights in normal mode as opposed to going to high beam. I recommend the NOVITA LM470 module for any TJ (wrangler) 2006 LED upgrade.

----- October 10, 2018 -----Update to my previous review on November 28, 2017The relay I purchased from a local auto parts store has been working without any issue since I installed it almost a year ago. I cannot recommend purchasing this item from this vendor. I can only assume the items I received from this online vendor were part of a defective batch. My recommendation would be to purchase through a vendor that is willing to provide at least a 1 year warranty to avoid the problem I encountered. It is not unreasonable to expect this device to last at least a year.----- November 28, 2017 -----Update to my initial review on June 9, 2017 - downgrading from 4 to 1 starSeveral days ago, this module stopped working. Asked for a refund from Auto Parts Company (autopartscompany1945), but since it had been beyond he 30-day warranty, they declined to offer a refund. I was disappointed (both with the product and vendor) because I think it's unacceptable that this module should stop working after less than 6 months of use.I purchased a new module a few days ago to replace the one that stopped working and installed it the same day. The second one stopped working within 48 hours. I returned the second defective unit and ended up going to a local auto parts store (O'Reilly Auto Parts) since I can't continue to drive around without turn signals. I'm very frustrated with this product, and it pains me that there doesn't seem to be a better alternative for my vehicle to allow LEDs to work (O'Reilly did a search, but the LM470 was the only compatible part listed). I'm hoping that the first two were just part of a bad batch and that the third one continues to work. It shouldn't be rocket science to get a basic electronic relay to handle turn signal operation in a vehicle. This is the 21st century: cars have been around for about a century, electronics have progressed to allow for mini computers to be worn around our wrists, etc. We should be able to get a good product for this application. I'm annoyed by what seems to be poor quality manufacturing of this product.----- June 9, 2017 -----Installed this in my 2002 Jeep Wrangler, and it works very well. Both the hazard and turn signal flashing works as expected. I have discovered an issue with the front 1157 lamps when I try to use LED bulbs. Because of the way the the front 1157 turn lamps work with the front side marker lights, I suspect the 1157 bulbs need to be non-polarity and the low/high circuits need to be isolated. This occurs naturally with incandescent bulbs, but the LEDs I've tried so far have been problematic. I replaced the front side marker bulbs with non-polarity T10 LED bulbs, and that has fixed half of the problem. Another thing to note is that I have had no problem with the 1157 LED bulbs I installed. I use these for the rear lights, and they work fine: "LUYED 2 x 800 Lumens Super Bright 1157 2835 33-EX Chipsets 1157 2057 2357 7528 LED Bulbs Used For Turn Signal Lights,Tail Lights,Xenon White." They are comparable to the brightness of the incandescent 1157 bulbs but somewhat brighter. I changed both out, so they are consistent. As a side note (and unrelated to any of the lamps that go thru this relay circuit), in the center rear brake lamp, I use this LED bulb: "GRV T10 921 194 13-5050 SMD Wedge LED Bulb lamp Super Bright Cool White DC 12V Pack of 6." It is nice and bright. I use the same LED bulb for the overhead interior cabin light. The footwell interior lights are a little smaller, so I use these LED bulbs for those: "GRV T10 921 194 9-5050 SMD LED Bulb lamp High Bright Cool White DC 12V Pack of 10"FYI (for my fellow Jeep Wrangler TJ owners), the front side marker LED bulbs that I've found to work well with this relay are these: "194 LED Light bulb, Yorkim® 6th Generation, Non-Polarity,12V Lights for 168, 2825,T10 5-SMD LED Bulb (Pack of 10)"I will continue to investigate which LED bulbs will work well for the front turn indicators, but as of my writing this review, I don't have a good lead on that yet.

2004 Jeep Wrangler SE. Turn signals where flashing too fast on the drivers side only, yet all the bulbs were good (check these first). Replaced the stock relay with this part and works perfectly with 'standard' non LED bulbs. Its located on the top of the steering column under the plastic shroud; to remove the plastic covers unscrew from underneath and the relay is on the top right hand side; pull it out towards the front of the car. (Tip: the terminals are keyed so mark the top before removing it). To replace simply align terminals the same and plug it in. Its a little shorter and ligthter than the original and YES it does sound different but works great..

I just installed this in my 2006 TJ (SE), and it works perfectly with LEDs installed in the rear lights. I'd previously tried a slighly cheaper generic import, and the cheaper module would not flash the hazard warning lights. Get this LM470 for your 5-pin flasher module, and you'll be much happier with the results.

Turn signals on 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited would only work properly on occasion.Bulbs were fine and connections were clean. No big name auto part stores carried the flasher and even on-line I couldnt locate an OEM for less then $50+ shipping.I took a chance on this one because it is labeled LED and the jeep uses traditional 1156 and 1157 bulbs. The flasher gives a slightly different "click" sound but works perfectly! I installed it myself in 5 minutes with the help of a YouTube video.Payed less then $15 with free shipping and seller shipped quickly and packaging was secure.I could not have been happier! This should also work on 2001-2006 Jeep Wranglers as they all use the exact same flasher number.
