PREVENT WATER FROM ENTERING When the wheels are submerged, pressure from the spring-loaded piston keeps the water out. Spring-loaded piston exerts a slight pressure against the grease that maintains a slight pressure between the inside of the hub and the outside environment. Protect the wheel bearings from dust grit which can severely shorten the wheel bearing life. Made from stainless steel durable material for strength and durability. This ensures the bearings are well-packed with grease and prevents water from getting in and wrecking your bearings.
BEAUTIFUL AND ERGONOMIC DESIGN The bearing adopts premium-quality stainless steel material with high strength, wear resistance, rust resistance, and other excellent characteristics, making this product very durable and has a long service life. Once installed and filled with the required amount of grease, these bearing partners exert a small amount of internal pressure in the hub. To prevent overfilling, Bearing has an automatic pressure relief feature that allows the grease to come out through the Bearing instead of out the grease seal on the back of the hub. The bra over the Bearing Buddy contains the grease, keeping it off the trailer tires and wheels.

The chrome bearing buddies fit as spec'd. Good value for the money. Beats having the kids hang on the sides of the trailer spraying down the wheels to keep them from heating because the OEM caps fell off. 😊 Care must be taken not to damage the wheel hub rim point. The bearing appeared to have been previously installed, but after clean up it did not impact function; and no damage to spring valve noted. It is difficult to really damage these caps unless you are actually trying to do so. The bearing caps make it easier to grease the wheel bearings--no need to use the rear lube point, as it can result on overfill situation. The bearing buddy is designed to accommadate both the front and rear bearings with its pressure valve indicator.

I bought these for my HF 1720 folding Trailer. Fit perfect using a wood block and like a 3 lb hammer to tap them in. The one HF sells are only good for their smaller trailers not the 1720. This is a 2.047 inch diameter.

The brand has been around forever and is the standard for every boat trailer I own. I converted a 4x8 harbor freight trailer for launching my kayaks so I installed these on the stock hubs. I used a dead blow mallet and they fit on with ease.

Quality is excellent. A smidge too large for the metric hub on trailer. HINT: if very close to proper size but too big, GRIND, on a lathe, to size. Heavy chrome plating makes it thick. Otherwise, great stuff.

Finally decided to do some long-overdue maintenance on my trailer this winter. Bearings were fine. Installed new grease and seals. Decided to upgrade my caps while I was at it.I was pleasantly surprised to find Bearing Buddies available for this trailer. There is a lot of confusion and misinformation out there about these Harbor Freight trailers. Parts aren't hard to find if you search using the part numbers.My seals were shot. I purchased a couple National 30x52x10 seals also on Amazon. They work great and are much better than the original ones.

Perfect fit for the Harbor Freight HAUL-MASTER 1090 lb. Capacity 40-1/2" x 48" Utility Trailer with 12" wheels. These are overkill for my needs but I wanted to just quit worrying about wheel bearings and these fit the bill. Clearly a high quality product. Very happy. (Side note: If you have this trailer and are still running the original wheel bearings, I highly suggest you replace them with Timken 30205M. The original wheel bearings are garbage)
