We went back n forth with purchasing this bed, and it ultimately won because the key details were there. Solid and sturdiness. The price was a bit high, but overall the value is worth it. The bed looks great, and the build was pretty easy.We transitioned from a crib to a big girl bed, but her crib was her space. So we felt comfortable with her being in this bed, and her ability to keep growing in this bed for the following years. The Mattress height we went with was an 8” and it’s a good fit.Overall I’d recommend it.

Everything goes together easily. Everything was packed perfectly where nothing moved and got scratched or broken. The finish on the boards is great. It’s a very sturdy bed. I would highly recommend it.

We liked this floor bed. The frame is safe for kids and looks sturdy. The only thing is it is a little bigger than the mattress, so there are gaps when you put the mattress. Overall, it is a good bed for toddlers.

Looks great. Everything seems high quality expect for the slats which seem like a very cheap quality wood which splinters easily. I hope it holds up the test of time.

We are really pleased with our purchase! We own this brand’s kitchen tower so we’re willing to risk the heavier price tag for their floor bed. It was worth it (we paid full price). It is actually wood. The directions for assembly are clear and I was able to put it together on my own. Our son immediately jumped on his new bed and pulled on the side rail. Everything is super sturdy and we know he is safe. It is also the only bed we found that advertised that it could support our weight with our son, and it has easily handled me climbing in there with him. He loves the independence this bed affords him and we love knowing it is safe and will last him.

I am dealing with a NOT- Great sleeper on my hand and so for a big part of my daughter's life, she would sleep on a Japanese mattress on the floor. We tried a few times to get her to sleep on her mini-crib but was not successful. She would move around so much that she would hit herself to the crib sides and since she woke up multiple times throughout the night and still breastfeeds, we need something convenient, that is on the floor and gives her feeling of freedom and is still safe. This one is unique because it doesn't come with the side wooden rails like most baby/toddler beds, but still had that middle part that keeps the baby from falling off. The borders are soft and small so she won't get hurt hitting herself to the sides while moving. It also give me the ability to climb up and down and feed her in low light at night. My kid instantly fell in love with it, moved all her dolls and stuffed animals in there and likes to take her books there to read. You can't belive what that mean with this kid who has not been a great sleeper. She is waking up less often and sleeps deeper too. For now, I just stacked two Japanse mattresses on top of each other but I am ordering a 6 inches foam mattress for this to try and see. Great bed, very smart, especially that I can easily lie down with her and feed her with plenty of space left for her.

I had been looking for MONTHS for the perfect floor bed to transition my toddler to from his crib. I just really loved the look of this. It allows him to climb in and out but still provides a barrier so he doesn’t just roll out of the bed. I also like that when the rail is removed as he gets older, it won’t look too young for him. No one wants to buy a new bed frame every 2-3 years. It was easy to put together, I did it by myself in about 45 minutes (I did use a drill as suggested for the slats, so that went by fast). I’ve had my toddler in it for just about a month now, and I’m very happy with my purchase.

At first I was nervous because this bed didn't have a ton of reviews, and was a lot cheaper than many Montessori-style floor beds I was looking at, but when I saw the brand I decided to go for it - it's the same brand as my toddler's kitchen tower, which I love.In short, this was a fantastic purchase. The bed was no harder or easier than any other bed to assemble, and the wood is quality, real wood. My two year old can easily get in and out on her own, and we plan on eventually taking the rail off to make it more appropriate as she grows. I feel like slapping the "Montessori" name on products makes them able to be sold at a huge markup, but Ocodile seems more concerned with getting quality products to kids instead of getting as much money as they possibly can. It's the perfect bed for a growing child.
