It makes the process of splitting a case a breeze and will work like a charm for most 2-stroke and 4-stroke vertically split crankcases – especially since the tool's adjustable arms allow it to function properly on many different types of bolt patterns. The splitter also makes disassembling the crankcase simple by allowing you to safely push the crank assembly right out of the case halves.

A specialty tool for sure. Heavy duty. Two different size threaded rods with nuts. 3 rods in each size. Worked awesome for splitting my 20 year old YZ250 cases that have never been apart. Just do it.

I will say I question the durability of this unit prior to purchasing it however the above pictures explains what beast this little thing is it literally tore the case in half. Are used it for a ‘15 Polaris Ranger 570 and I didn’t see a bolt in the middle of the case due to it being covered in dirt and grease it yanked the top half right out Bolt and everything. Great Job Tusk y’all made a solid product.
