Overall it's what you expect for it's price. The most disappointing part is that the mic just kinda hangs there and touches my neck often. I have to keep adjusting it constantly even tried super gluing it in place. The mic itself seemed to work well enough but with my old controller it echoed a lot. Just got a new controller it doesn't seem to echo anymore but now I can hardly hear one. So idk.. Kind of ok if you don't wanna spend a ton of money but also a bit iffy..

The headset works like expected , my only issue is the mouth piece does not really move. It's terribly placed but still picks up my voice no issues. It's just awkward to have it jabbing me on the neck because it points straight down. But the open ear cup design is actually nice.

Super cheap headset, but a million times better than the cheap-o Xbox basic headset which Microsoft charges more for. I just bought a new one to replace my last one (same model) that lasted many years before the mic finally gave out. It is just for chat, don't purchase this thinking that you will get gamesound through the earpiece. Super clear sound, and I am told that my microphone is very clear on the other end. If this headset had doubled in cost since thr last time I purchased one, I would still buy another, without hesitation.

Es de una marca reconocida por calidad y comodidad.A pesar de ser económico es muy bueno, totalmente de plástico; el diseño del auricular hace que tu oreja quede totalmente libre de incomodidad, además, al no estar directamente sobre la oreja hace que el sonido no te cause molestias en jornadas largas. Por otro lado, el mismo diseño te permite escuchar el sonido exterior, por lo que no perderías la sensación envolvente si tienes teatro en casa.Tiene unas almohadillas grandes y muy cómodas; la diadema no es pesada, el interior no tiene almohadilla de protección, pero sinceramente no hace falta, mi oreja no hace contacto con el plástico.El sonido es claro, muy limpio, las voces se aprecian muy bien, además no causa eco; de igual manera tus amigos te oirán de manera clara.Ideal para usarlo únicamente en chat.

I have an older turtle bay gaming headset that I love. I bought this thinking the quality would be similar, but is not. Its cheap feeling, uncomfortable and still ok for the price. bad rating is because the mic stopped working after only a few weeks (which I didn't use using right away so I'm past return period). The mic was working (not a technical issue), but very crackeled. I was using it to work from home and no one could understand me on this headset. I recorded my voice to hear and it sounded like I was going 120mph on the highway with the windows down. Maybe I got a lemon...

The only reason i got this mic was because microsoft nowadays doesn't include a mic when you buy an xbox like they used to (and should, obviously). So i made sure to get the xbox type for compatibility's sake and turtle beach is a company known for their quality. That being said this is the worst mic i have ever owned. Just a quick list of issues here:-Lies in description stating:"audio of game" but there is no in-game audio, only voice chat...for a turtle beach... a company known for creating headsets with in-game audio...ok dude-You have to put it together before using it in a super awkward dance of jamming one plastic object into another without breaking it-Uncomfortable to wear on head and ear cup-Sound quality is terrible (even it was good it wouldn't be worth it)-The mic started to lower in volume of voice chat over time and now i can barely hear anyone-I have had this mic for 2 weeks and it is already brokenNever buy a Microsoft product unless you absolutely have to. I just bought earbuds at the CVS down the street that works better than this terrible, terrible product.Please spend your money elsewhere, or do better by me and make sure to read the reviews before you casually buy mic in lieu of a pandemic.

I originally purchased the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 wireless headset. It is a great headset with stereo sound and the wireless works great with my Xbox One X. However I found that my ears got all hot and sweaty from the ear cushions after a few hours. Additionally I found I didn't like the sound isolations as I couldn't hear anyone talking even though they were right next to me.So I ordered theres and I think they are awesome. These are meant just for chatting with your online team mates-they don't offer any game sounds. That is fine with me as I have an audio-video receiver with 7.1 surround.I wear glasses and the head band part does not interfere with my glasses. I didn't notice any discomfort at all after a three hour Destiny 2 session.This headset plugs into the 3.5MM jack on my Xbox One X controller. I can adjust the volume on the headset with the slider, or through setting on my Xbox unit.I can't beat the price for value and I am completely happy with my purchase.

I've been looking for a headset like these forever. It fits a little tight. The mic is flexible, a little too flexible. Sometimes it slowly starts to drop on its own. The ear pad is a little hard. Not as soft as other headsets. I wear glasses and the cut out helps the headset fit just right. I'm usually fidgeting with other headsets so that my glasses sit right. No more constant adjusting my glasses anymore. As for the mic and sound, I haven't had any issues. No complaints from other players saying they can't hear me. And I can hear them crystal clear. Finally the cutouts in the ear piece help you hear if you use a surround sound for gaming.

Als Ersatz für das Standard-Chat-Headset der Xbox One gekauft, dessen UVP 19.99 beträgt und somit knapp teurer ist. Qualitativ liegt das Turtle Beach Recon Chat jedoch klar vorne! Ein guter 40mm Treiber sorgt einfach für bessere Sprachverständlichkeit. Der Tragekomfort geht auch in Ordnung und das betroffene Ohr (man kann es wahlweise rechts oder links tragen) wird im Gegensatz zum Microsoft-Modell tatsächlich weniger abgedämpft, da es nicht direkt auf dem Gehörgang aufliegt, sondern auf der umliegenden Muschel. Diese weißt einige Seitenaussparungen und Belüftungslöcher in der selbigen auf, so das man das tonale Spielgeschehen weiterhin gut über die eigene (Surround-) Anlage verfolgen kann und dabei kein "heißes Ohr" bekommt. Die Mikrofonqualität ist ebenfalls, vor allem am Preis gemessen, erstaunlich gut (Xbox Live-Party getestet). Kann auch an der PS4 verwendet werden! (Xbox 360 nicht getestet). Übrigens: Mute (Schiebe-) Schalter und Lautstärke-Regler (Rädchen) befinden sich im Kabel (3,5mm Miniklinke).Fazit: Wer noch ein Standard-Headset für seine aktuelle(n) Konsole(n) sucht darf das Turtle Beach Recon Chat beruhigt dem Xbox One Standard-, oder dem der Konsole beigepackten PS4-Modell (eher schrottig) vorziehen.Natürlich ist für einen Verkaufspreis von 16,99 keine Premium-Qualität realisierbar, aber die für den Preis gebotene Qualität (zur Erinnerung: 16.99!) ist hier nicht nur als ordentlich zu bezeichnen. Eher ein echter Preis/Leistungsknaller! Als langjähriger XboxLive-User und Verwendung/Erprobung von Headsets verschiedenster Qualitäten (mein persönlicher Favorit bleibt Sennheisers Game One) gebe ich daher eine klare Kaufempfehlung!
