My son wears an 11.5 in sneakers so I went with the 12 in these and they fit as expected. They're lightweight but thick and sturdy. The inside is well padded and I returned a brand name pair to keep these since they're so much more comfortable. The straps give some room to tighten or loosen and the velcro is strong. These are a great, inexpensive pair of shoes. They're comfy and well made. We are very happy with them.
