These are not the sharpest endmills, but they are relatively strong, durable, and they cut well. I've made lots of mistakes and the first endmill I used, is still running strong with no noticeable chips or dings, while cutting and crashing into aluminum. Haven't used it for anything other than aluminum, so I can't speak to how well it works in other materials. But, I can say they work well and are relatively durable.
