Just received umbrella and have not even used it yet. But it opens/closes easily and I love the classy look of black on top with lovely night sky inside when open. After years of purchasing light, handy small umbrellas that blew apart in wind or were difficult to open/close, I'm willing to accept the larger size for a one-time umbrella. I figure with the life-time guarantee, I can ditch the small, convenient but useless umbrellas and stick with this one.

The instructions are clear and easy to understand. It feel very sturdy and the one push button is easy to do and opens quickly. I will say, it is a bit loud as it opens or closes. I recommend being mindful of your surroundings as the umbrella opens quickly and could cause injury to those around you. As for closing it, the clear instructions direct you to use your arm to push down and it works but I want expecting to need to use so much strength. May not be ideal for those who don’t have enough upper body strength.

Love this umbrella. Great quality and looks just like the picture. The only slight negative is it's a bit hard to bring it back into the compact position. Maybe it will loosen up over time?

So far great umbrella. It did flip the opposite direction in the wind but was easy to flip back. Caused it no damage.

I cannot say enough about this umbrella!! I never write product reviews but this umbrella is such a good quality made umbrella for a fantastic price! It is sturdy, the light blue color is beautiful, it is well made, and opens/closes as explained in the description. I will be honest, I just received it today so I have not used it in the rain yet BUT my biggest desire in an umbrella was the inverted design. I had only ever seen large (non compact) inverted umbrellas til I came across this one. I went to my car and tested it as I opened up my door and got in and out of the car. With my previous large umbrella, that is exactly how it messed up. It was from getting in and out of the car but this umbrella fits the bill and should not damage this way. I am thrilled!! Also, the founder of the company sends a sweet letter and picture of her family telling her story of how this umbrella came to be. SUCH a thoughtful touch that I truly appreciate.

This is a great umbrella that will absolutely hold up to the windiest of days! It comes in a really cool cover with dogs on the outside that match the umbrella. When you take it out of the holder, unwrap the strap, and then press the button, WATCH OUT! This umbrella opens with a powerful thrust when you press the button. Make sure you hold on tight or it may fly across the room.I have not had it out in rain yet, but the material is thick, yet lightweight. Most of the weight is in the handle and you can easily see it is made from high quality material. I am confident this is one umbrella that will hold up to heavy wind and rain.It has darling dog pictures on the underside and is black on the top. The spines are strong and very sturdy. It is nice and compact when rolled up and tucked away in the nylon sleeve. You will not be disappointed by spending a few extra bucks on this umbrella. If you try to push it open like a typical umbrella it will not stay up. You must use the button to open it. Also when closing it, you press the button again, then push down from the top of the umbrella until it locks firmly in place. Once you get the hang of it, there won't be a problem.This would make a perfect gift for any dog lover!
