I love these needles. They have microscopic grooves that limit the contact with the fabric. They glide through smoother and have some flexibility. Only applique needles I buy. Oh, and these old eyes can thread these 'big eye' needles.

I have tried many sizes and types of needles for using when English Paper Piecing and these have to be my favorite by far. The Big Eye makes it so much easier to thread, they are sturdy have never broken one. Excellent quality and good price.

These needles are strong, sharp and just the right length. My invisible stitch is straight. However, it is challenging to thread. I finally purchased my own wire and made my own threaders. Most threaders are too thick.

I bought these needles in the middle of a large English Paper Piecing quilt project after watching a video by Tula Pink. Have tried two other recommended needle types and was still bending needles and suffering from hand fatigue. These are a game changer! Very sharp and easily glide through fabric, paper and glue basting with no fatigue. I love these and won’t go back to the others.
