UPF vs SPF
Pretty much the same thing. UPF is a rating for clothing and indicates the level of sun protection. The higher the better! UPF 50+ blocks 98%+ of UV rays. It is also critical that the protection you choose blocks both UVA and UVB rays. Tuga swimwear does.
SIZING
Use age, weight and height as a starting point for children, but please use actual product measurements for best fit. Unless otherwise stated, all our clothing is designed with a regular, comfort fit and not fitted in order to provide the highest sun protection possible. Fall is coming so I needed to keep my daughter warm in the pool. This swimsuit was perfect for my intention and its quality was good, but there’s no pads inside the top for 10-12yrs old girl. Please consider age more appropriately. It would have been wonderful if this top had padding inside. That’s why I took away one star.

This is a great suit, especially when you are swimming in areas that don’t allow sunscreen which can damage wildlife. It fits snug and the color is nice. Because it is two pieces, it will fit varying heights of children.

We’ve bought 6 sets of these over the years for our 2 daughters if that is any indication. This was our first time with the pants vs shorts and found them good for snorkeling and reduced sunscreen use. Fit was good though for tall long legged 11 year old they were a bit short.

My daughter loves this suit. The quality of the material is good and my daughter loves the way she looks in it! My daughter is tall for her age so we order the larger size since she was somewhat in the middle of their sizing chart. We had to return it and get the size recommended for her age.
