Septic guys were impressed we had these installed. This is a much-needed safety feature if you have above ground access to your septic tank.

Cap replaces old heavy concrete cap. Give your septic guy a break. Perfect solution to replace old cracked clay or flimsy corrugated septic risers. Everything went together perfectly.

the items do what they do. If one removes the main lid covering to measure, these safety lids will help prevent some accidental fall in. obviously, if a very small animal fell in, it might still go through the opening, so keep the ankle biters and perhaps cats away, just in case! Do expect the septic clean out folks to want to remove this safety lid when they do their job. the hole in the lid is going to be smaller than they want to work within.
