Soft fabric is easy to wrap, and can be torn without scissors, making it practical to take with you anywhere. This stretch elastic retainer is designed to give you maximum comfort and flexibility while helping your body heal. The elastic bandage can be stretched to 6 - 8 times the original length. The elastic dressing retainer is lightweight and breathable and keeps the skin cool and dry in helping wound recovery. Use scissors to cut the tubular elastic gauze bandage to the length you need.

I had an injury to my ankle that required a 24/7 bandage for several weeks. This gauze cover allowed that bandage to remain in place while I slept at night, which was a challenge originally. I secured the sleeve at the top and bottom just for additional security under a sheet. It did effectively hold my dressings in place. It did work well.

Use this tubular mesh gauze net for your wound management needs, The elastic net will gently but firmly hold bandages and pads on your arms or legs. The size six net is 10 yards long and is easily cut with scissors. The net is elastic and will stretch to fit most adult needs. The gauze will allow plenty of air to circulate around the bandage area and sweat will readily evaporate.Would recommend this to anyone.

This COMFORT AXIS Size 6 Tubular Elastic Stretch Mesh Gauze Bandage works well to secure dressings without having to use tape. Each roll is 10 yards in length and is cut to size. It is easily secured onto arms, legs and shoulders. The material is lightweight, breathable and soft on the skin. It is not binding at all and is comfortable holding down bandaging on an ankle, knee, elbow, arm or shoulder. The width of the roll measures 2 inches from side to side (4 inches diameter). Once stretched it can easily go to 13 inches (26 inches is diameter). It can definitely stretch enough to hold a bandage around your head. This is a great add-on to a first aid kit. I am not worried that it is not sterile since it is not going directly onto a wound. A wound can easily be cleaned and treated with sterile equipment with this laying on top to secure it. Maybe I would think differently if I were a Dr, but I am not so I am not worried.

I was pleasantly surprised at just how much this tubular mesh stretches. It starts out seeming too small to go over a thumb, and ends up easily fitting my upper legs and arms. The intent of this mesh is to keep wound dressings in place, and it does a good job of that. Given the difficulty of securing dressings on the knee or outside elbows, I would cover the dressing with a bandage first, then apply this mesh over that. I did find it's a little tricky to apply the mesh with one hand, especially putting it over a gauze pad without the pad moving. It can be done - it's just not the easiest thing in the world. Best if someone can help.Given its use, the fact that it's not sterile isn't a concern for me, just as adhesive tape used over a dressing isn't sterile. Two additional benefits of this mesh: it makes it easy to change out the dressing often (pull the mesh back, change the dressing, then pull the mesh back into place), and it comes off easily and painlessly without taking arm or leg hairs with it.
