REPLACING A WIRED SENSOR BAR AND IT WORKED GREAT

This product works fine for some uses, but its range is so short that it's not great for what I ordered it for, that being playing Mario Party 8 with my family. However, due to the relatively low price, it's not as bad as it could be.I appreciate that it has an easy to use button to turn it on and off, but the power indicator light is really bright and annoying.Overall, unless you're planning on using it at close range for single player games, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

For those who are new to the wii functionality. The sensor bar doesn't connect to the wii. The sensor bar the wii came with only needed to connect to the console for the power. Took me a YouTube video to figure out if I was missing anything lol. It works.

I bought this because my cats keep eating through a wired sensor bar. I had high hopes for it right out of the package. It worked great. Then the second day it was iffy. And now, three days later, it’s completely stopped working. It’s not the batteries; I put new ones in. The lights are supposed to show on a camera. They did the first day, summer the second, gone today. I’d recommend saving your money and buying the Nintendo branded one. That’s what I’m going to do now.

When I got it out of the box I did not think it was going to work. I already had my Wii mote paired via bluetooth to the mac. Put batteries in the sensor, fired up dolphin, hit refresh on the controller settings, the wiimote vibrated. Launched a game and it worked! And it works well! I'm was totally surprise considering how cheap it is. So works great on dolphin for OSX.

This bar is an exact replacement for the WII sensor bar with no wires needed. It uses 4 AA batteries and has both a power switch and a red LED power indicator on the front. It includes a mounting bracket and tape for installation. so it will work mounted over a sound bar below the TV. Perfect for a TV mounted on a swing or lift mounting as there are no wires to get caught in the mechanism and it works in installations where the TV is too far from the WII for the standard wire to reach. The only down side is need to replace batteries, but after many hours of play time the first set of batteries are still going strong. You must remember to turn it off when not in use as there is no auto off function.

It's a wireless sensor bar it's seriously just 2 infrared lights on a stick but this one is powered by battery's not power from the wall! It's a work of genius! Also it's the cheapest wireless one don't expect anything that two tealights on a stick can't do.
