works as described and packs down extremely tight. I just wish a product that works so great as a spare tube to ride with also had a removable core to work on deeper wheels without needing a specific valve extender.

I was looking for an alternative to tubeless for a bike that I frequently switch tires on (messy when using sealant) and figured tpu tubes would be a better option than going back to heavy butyl ones. I've already flatted more than I ever did when running butyl tubes and on the latest flat, I can't even find the leak when submerging the tube under water. It's like the tpu material is permeable and the air is just seeping out. I'm going right back to tubeless and I'm out over 30 bucks on a truly useless product.

I've used Cyclami, RideNow, Aerothan and Tubolitos. So far, these have been most reliable. The Cyclami and RideNow are too light and fragile for training or commuting. My tires have been Continental GP5000 TR, both 28mm and 32mm. As for feel and rolling resistance, honestly, there's no difference between them. For me, it comes down the safety and reliability.

These tubes are super convenient. Love their low weight and low profile. What I don’t like so much is their durability. Mid-race at Unbound last year, I needed to put in one of these after getting a small sidewall puncture that the tubeless setup couldn’t hold and where a plug wouldn’t worked. Even with a bit of gorilla tape on the rip and this (brand new) tube in place, I got a leak in the tire 20 miles after the change. A similar issue happened at another race on a different set of tires and a different puncture with a screw. Changed to the tube, which held up for a bit, but noticed considerable deflation before the finish line. Both experiences have me wondering whether the value is there. Light? Yes. Compact? Yes. Reliable? Not so sure.

This is a heavier duty version Tubolito. I carry it on my gravel bike for flats. It weights less and takes up less space than a std inner tube. Installation looks pretty standard - to ease loading into the tire just add a bit more air so it forms into its shape. Costlier that a tube, but to me worth it.

I bought these for packing as spares for an emergency. Their small size makes them easy to fit in tight spaces. I installed one pair on my bike and they seem to perform well and seem to hold air well. Be aware to order the correct valve stem length as extenders do not work with these tubes due to plastic valve stem construction. This has not been an issue so far.

I like the ease of installation and the low rolling resistance. And they just look groovy. But the ride is a bit stiffer than latex or butyl.

These are my new emergency repair tubes for my road bike running 32mm wide tubeless tyres. I've not needed one yet (I run Schwalbes...) but if I did, I am confident that these little and light beauties would serve the job nicely. I am loving the fact that they are tiny! They are so small I can chuck 2 in my saddlebag. They seem nicely made and did I mention they are light?! Wish they were a bit cheaper but worth it, even if I never use them just because of the size and weight - I will be carrying them on every ride after all.
