I got this to cover my HHIP Grade B stone. Certainly not as nice as the Starrett cover I have on my Starrett Grade A Pink granite stone, but it's less than half the price and will do the job perfectly. See comparison photos. Note that the cover I received is made with the seams on the outside--as if it's inside out. This is not how the product is pictured. For a $38 item made from $3 of pleather, the seams should be properly constructed. But I'll keep it because I don't have a sewing machine and it will serve its purpose just fine.

The cover is a good value, it might be black pleather, but it’s perfect for a home machinist that wants a fitted cover for their surface plate.
