This condiment tongs was made in Tsubamesanjo, Niigata Prefecture, a manufacturing area for kitchenware.
Small but solid quality.
The bending part of the tongs is specially processed using a patented technology acquired by the manufacturing facility (Patent No. 4022924), and has characteristics that are easy to grip, easy to release, and not easy to deform.
Available in a variety of sizes of 3.9 and 4.7 inches (10 and 12 cm). There are 3 shapes of the ingredients that grip the food is claw, flat, and palm.
Also available in a set of 3 different types.
The manufacture of Tanabe Hardware is made in Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture.

これまでおせち料理とか漬物とかを取るためにそれ用の箸を用意して使っていましたが、箸は長さがあるため邪魔でした。今更ながらですが、よくよく考えると食堂とかに福神漬けを取るためのミニトングがあることを思い出して、本品を購入した次第です。食堂とかにある業務用のとは違い、家庭用だからなのか、綺麗に研磨してありますので質感も高く、満足いくものでした。欲を言えば、もう1~2ミリ、先端部が大きいと良い気がしました。
