I do love these guards for playing roller derby. I got my first set in Vagas at RollerCon'24. A fellow derby sister needed a new pair so I gave her one of mine. They took me a minute to get use to as they have more stability than your typical brace. I'll take that over a broken wrist any day. I really adore all my DSG gear. I only got my second set of wrist guards on Amazon though.

Easy to put/snap on straps for the spring/summer. Definitely keeps my wrist secure. There really isn't any downside to these gloves.

I bought the XXL because it was 1/2 off, probably because no one wrists are this large. But, I needed them to fit over leather gloves, so it worked out.

Had to "jury rig" these things to work for me. I measured perfectly within the sizing chart obtained directly from the TSG website. However, the velcro straps on these things SUCK. The rough part of the velcro on the wrist straps extends too far down, thereby making it so that they scratched my skin. YOU'D THINK MAYBE TSG WOULD HAVE PUT THE SOFT VELCRO ON THE SECTION THAT WRAPS AROUND THE WRISTS, RATHER THAN THE ROUGH PART?! Not only that, but one of the straps is so tight I can only affix it by its "tip."I ended up "fixing" this by first cutting away some of the rough velcro around the "lower point" of the straps, and then wrapped around that area with duct tape to conceal it. Needless to say, they look pretty bad. I just say they have the beaten-up "grunge look" that some associate with skateboarders.Other than that, they seem to be semi-decent; they retain well and conform decently to my wrists. I noticed the plastic splint on the underside does not actually make "contact" with the underside of my wrist, which is actually better when it comes to shock absorption and protection, as it gives some "cushion." Nonetheless, I was a bit put off at how far they seem to extend up the lower forearm - they are a bit "longer" than the 187 ones I frequently use as well. If you fall on these, you are likely to strain your forearm. While fracturing likely isn't too probable, they shouldn't have made these to extend this far.Disappointed. Too pricey for what they are, considering I had to "decimate" these things just to make them "wearable" out of the package. Avoid.

Much better than the protec ones. Will deffintly get again in the future. They last longer and are stiffer. But just a heads up these run bigger than the protec. Say if you've used a size large in the protec, buy a medium TSG.

This is a really useful product if you skateboard, rollerblade, or ride a bike. They are comfortable and come in different sizes. They aren't too bulky, so you can still get good movement in your wrist, whilst protecting them. Service was also good.

I bought these for use when road and mountain unicycling, and have made quite a few hand landings where these protected both from abrasions and stabilized my wrists and prevented both soft tissue injury and fractures.I am reviewing because I came back to order another pair. I wear a set of gloves (running gloves) under these and they still fit very nicely. The support bars do not interfere with my hand gripping the front of my seat which is important for me. It is a great product and I recommend them highly!
