This Truper brand sledge hammer is an amazing tool to have handy when u need to drive something in the ground in only a few swings and continue on. I work in the plants so ik first hand and from first person POV if you know how to windmill this is definitely a go to

Solid as a sledgehammer. The heft and feel are great (no splinters from this handle) and it came with the head wrapped in bubble wrap which was nice. Haven't found anything NOT to like in 2+ years.

Solid Haevy Duty Sledge Hammer. It will definitley split the rocks and drive the stakes and then some. If you are not a strong person order a 10 or 8 pound Sledge Hammer. This 12 pounder is for seriuos work and someone who has the strength and and skill to weild it.
