The mute sounds like crap it’s way to small for my bb trumpet and it makes the pitch to high

This is 100% not a trumlet straight mute, it's too small- even though it does fit. Because of the size it makes sound quality poor. This would be better on something like a clarinet.

I now own six (6) different mute of arying styles, sizes and shapes. This is my go to for practice sessions. Don't think twice, at this price, this is a must have in your brass instrument inventory.

I don't really know what to say about it. It was cheap, and it definitely makes my trumpet much quieter. A good little mute.
