I had a lot of other fall protection stuff but I didn't have a shorter rope or a rope grab. It was cheaper to buy this than to buy the item separately and it works right.

I haven't had chance to use the safety rope yet, but can tell by the quality that I won't have a problem.I wouldn't have any problem recommending this product based on quality and affordability.

So far I’ve used it on one roofing project and it’s nice. Way better than the polyester ropes.The gib slides smooth. Love the fact it doesn’t have to be fed up the bottom of the rope the first time it’s assembled. The only thing that annoyed me was, each time I got up to walked higher up the roof, the gib would slide up the rope. That’s not a bad thing. But as I returned to the lower area, the gib needed to be manually released or the rope held straight through the gib so it wouldn’t catch.

I had to replace some facia boards on the roof peak above the garage and on the front of the house. The roof was stiff so I used this to add safety for myself. I didn't fall onto it but it was good to have :)

This is an essential tool for anyone working at heights, especially on vertical roofing projects. This 50ft rope provides the perfect length for maneuvering around rooftops safely and securely. I own an old house that is quite tall. With an old house there is always something that needs repairing. This rope has improved my confidence and safety when working on my exterior house projects. The quality seems good and the price was great!

I’m just an average homeowner that likes to do home projects by himself. I do get on my roof from time to time for standard maintenance, moss control, holiday lights and have been doing this for about 15 years. I have never used any fall protection up until now. When the house was built, the roof had anchors on it to clip into for safety. As I’m getting a bit older and feeling a little intimidated while on the roof nowadays, I figured if they installed these anchors, they must have added them for a reason. So I went ahead and ordered me a fall protection harness and this 50’ rope (and because the wife told me to) I now feel much safer while doing my roof projects. The quality of the rope and tether equipment seems well constructed and works as described. I’m no fall safety advisor but do recommend getting this product for your own peace of mind.
