Oxygen sensors wear out over time and should be replaced every 60,000 miles to prevent poor engine performance. I gave this 4 stars, because I took one star away for not working in my model car, which was inaccurately reported on their "this sensor fits" description. Sure it fit, but it wasn't for my Touareg it turns out. After reading a gazillion articles on O2 Sensors and why this didn't work in my 2008 VW Touareg V6 gas, I finally just got the exact replacement part for my Touareg (the original was discontinued) from Amazon. What worked was a Bosch Oxygen Sensor - 17178. Put that in and it passed smog. This sensor the vendor is offering is probably a great O2 Sensor, it just did not work n my car. I went through 2 of them before figuring this out (both descriptions said it would work). Hope this helps.

If I could give it a zero star I would. Bought in July of 2024 and I’m having to replace it now in February 2025. Stay away!

This sensor’s build quality is superb. The material quality is good, like the connector, cable and cable protectors. It is very easy to install and it fits to my car very well. The functionality of the sensor is good and It is a perfect replacement. It is a good value for my money.

Have not installed this yet. Cleaned air filter & changed oil, check engine light never came back on! Car has a k&n filter.

I think TRQ has good quality after market parts. However when I replaced my bad oxygen sensor and erased the code drove it 1 mi and the code came back again. I replaced it with an OME sensor did the same thing ,it works great. Not a huge crisis I just wasted $30.

good video instractions,easy instalation.mine i took to a shop,since oldone got stuck welded .recomend to take it to shop to install just in case old one is stuck.not very common problem.my car has 205000 miles
