TRQ CV drive axles are new, so there is no core charge with your TRQ purchase. TRQ-designed drive axles utilize neoprene boots, moly grease, stainless steel clamps, and heat-treated ball tracks to ensure extended service life. Each TRQ axle is application-specific so each spline and thread will mate properly for a seamless fit. Price was right. But the description is way off. This DOES NOT fit a 2009 toyota matrixs.Upon further research I found out that I had a late model 2008 toyota, it's registered as a 09. So the parts may fit an 09 just fine. I was unjust in my review. So be diligent in your searches, unlike me. Happy wrenching.

***Update ***January 17, you can’t go to TRQ website and file warranty the links do not work, just says failed every time. Amazon was able to return the item but I would have to purchase new first, then remove them and then install the new ones, where true customer service would have been to issue a refund replacement or cash equivalent refund to purchase others and then install to send back old ones. Amazon should stop dealing with TRQ immediately because they truly do not warranty their items. It is false advertising that they have lifetime limited warranty. I would give 0 stars at this time, buyer beware, go to your local auto parts store. You get what you pay for sometimes… lesson learned.***update***January 2025 took truck into get maintenance and they did an inspection both shafts are leaking grease at the boot clamp area and TRQ can’t be contacted, I ordered them through Amazon but got them through their store in Amazon and can’t process the warranty. Disappointed that they didn’t even make 6 months.The quality of the product fit perfect with no issues. The product is reasonably priced. The best part is they do provide installation videos to help with ease of installation. Overall perfect replacement parts for my truck. Installed May 2024.
