The pro about this toothpaste is that although it's peanut butter flavored, the scent isn't too strong or overbearing. Sadly, it didn't really help with my dog's gum irritation. I found it to be on the watery side and it didn't 'bubble' up as much as our usual enzymatic toothpaste. The sensitive area on my dog's gums remained red even after a few days of use. If your dog doesn't have any sensitive gums, then this toothpaste may work better, but if your dog is prone to getting dental issues like mine, then it's not the best option out there. I do like that it comes with the toothbrush and silicone finger toothbrush.

My dog has always disliked getting his teeth brushed. He tolerates it but definitely tries to pull away so it’s a matter of speedily getting the task done. We liked the Tropiclean dog toothpaste kit and my dog seems to like the toothpaste as well. He sniffed it the first time and did not pull away which is a good sign.I’ve used the finger brush with a few drops of the toothpaste as directed. I know they recommend doing one side first and then the other side but with my dog, I don’t have that luxury. This makes the finger brush easy and efficient. I can get towards the back and his canines just fine as I have used other finger brushes before.However, I do like that this one is tighter so it’s a bit hard to take off – which isn’t necessarily a bad thing as you don’t want to fidget with the brush when you’re brushing your dog’s teeth. We’ve been able to make quick work of our dog’s nightly routine and made brushing his teeth a bit easier too.

My dog loves anything with peanut butter flavor, so I had to give this a try since brushing his teeth is so difficult. He typically doesnt like the brush in his mouth, but because of the flavor, he was a little less resistant than normal. The included brush with dual brush head is a nice touch. Overall it worked ok for something my dog doesnt like doing.

This comes with two types of toothbrush (two sided and finger toothbrush) and clear gel toothpaste. Got this because we were low on toothpaste and the toothbrush we had was getting worn out. The bristles on this toothbrush are a little stiffer than I would usually use on my dog, but I use it gently and he seems ok. The toothbrush is double sided with one brush head smaller than the other. My dog is small so we usually just use the small side, but bigger dogs could use both. The finger toothbrush is pretty standard but works great, especially for those little teeth in the front. The toothpaste seems to just be a flavored lubricant so the dog has something to taste. If this is what you're looking for, than it is a good value getting it all in one packet. If you're looking for an enzymatic toothpaste, this is not it. My dog is reluctant to have his teeth brushed, but he seems to like the taste and is willing to have his teeth brushed for the toothpaste.

TropiClean's Fresh Breath Plaque & Tartar Control Kit comes with everything you need to brush your dog's teeth if you're not already set up for it. The toothbrush seemed fairly ineffective compared to our usual, so it will likely find its way into a back-up pile. The finger brush was better than some that I've tried, and my pup found it intriguing due to the change from our usual equipment.Surprisingly, unlike other products from Tropiclean, my pup had absolutely no interest in the peanut butter & honey-flavored toothpaste. It seemed "sharp" based on the reaction elicited while brushing his teeth. He repeatedly shook his head and danced around rather than brush his teeth as willingly as he usually does with our other standard toothpastes. After repeated, prolonged trials, this one unfortunately is likely to be donated to someone's dog who might appreciate it more.

I LOVE that this was peanut butter flavor!!! Always a hit for puppers! I also liked how the brush was double sided, as was easy to use on the molars.

This is a great doggy toothbrushing set in that you get the full tube of toothpaste, 2 headed toothbrush with a small side and large side, along with a finger brush. My pup doesn't care too much for the regular toothbrush so I was only able to get a few brushes in before I had to switch back to the finger brush but the longer toothbrush is helpful to reach the teeth further back if your pup doesn't mind this type of toothbrush. I do wish the finger brush was 360 with bristles all the way around since it does shift a little while I am brushing my dog but I'm not going to count off a star for this because my dog stayed put due to the flavor and taste of this toothpaste. I put some on the finger brush and let my pup smell it first and then was able to begin brushing without any issue. A great set to get so that you have both types of toothbrushes for a complete cleaning.

This is the first toothpaste & finger brush that I’ve ever been successful with in brushing my senior girl’s teeth! While I didn’t taste it, the peanut butter & honey flavor must’ve been palatable enough for her because she didn’t fight me.So happy that this kit included both a double-ended toothbrush & a finger brush. While I’ve never been able to get any toothbrush in her mouth, the finger brush was a winner! While the fit was a little tight on my small-medium sized index finger, it worked well, didn’t come off & was solid enough not to get punctured. Pretty easy to take off...just have to roll it & it comes right off.Thrilled to finally be able to give my girl some proper brushings. I always knew it was just as important for her as it is for us...just haven’t been able to until now.I appreciate that this was made in the USA with safe ingredients by the well-known brand of TropiClean Fresh Breath.All in all, I can definitely recommend this kit, especially if you’ve been unsuccessful in the past. I think this one might be a winner for you, too.
