This is the scam/fake product.Bottle doesn't look like the photo, bottle feels cheap with a fake label, and the ink in my stamp did not provide additional inking. I hope it didn't ruin my $65 custom stamp! Nothing worse than a fake product that causes further damage. Make sure what you order looks like the photo.

This is high quality, oil based ink that works very well in a variety of settings. It is pure black, has no lumps or precipitates and covers well on paper without bleeding. It dries quickly once applied to paper. It is quite thick and viscous, however, and that makes loading it into various devices a bit challenging. The best option I have found is to use a 3 cc syringe with an 18 gauge 1 inch needle attached to it. The ink will not drip out of the bottle if you turn it upside down with the cap off as long as you do not squeeze the bottle. Once the bottle is inverted, you can easily slip the needle into the bottle's spout and use suction from the syringe's stopper to draw as much ink into the syringe as needed. The ink can then be "injected" into your stamp, pen, ribbon, etc. The recapped needle and attached syringe can be stored for reuse without any cleaning. Have been using this technique for more than 2 years with my first bottle and have had no difficulties. It is finally time to reorder.

Used to reink SCM Fastext80 DMP105 Ribbon. Works poorly on Commodore VIC1525 ribbon because of cartridge construction.

If you are still using a dot matrix printer, a daisy wheel printer or a typewriter, and getting disappointed that all "new" ink ribbons are dead stocks with halfway dried up ink, this bottle can help. I drilled a hole over a felt ink reservoir inside a cartridge so that I can inject a couple of drops of this ink every time I use the printer until the print becomes very dark again. Just don't give it too much ink as it creates a mess. When the cartridge is really dry and printing thin, I open the cartridge and pour a few drops over the felt reservoir and pads that apply the ink to the ribbon, and run the ribbon-moving knob on an electric drill for a few minutes to run the ink evenly across the length of the ribbon. Just be very careful and observe how things are put together before touching anything inside the cartridge.The ink is very viscous so syringe with a fine needle is useless. Using the applicator on the bottle is probably the most practical way, although it's a bit too thick.The black color of this ink is cold, blue-black.
