This calming paste was easy to administer and our horses liked it. We saw some calming for a horse that needed to be kept in her stall for several days. Another horse did not seem to get the calming effect.

I have recently use this on my Lusitano gelding while taking him to a clinic at a new facility. He can be unpredictable at times, but was, as the name says good as gold. I think that it has less of a tranquilizing effect and more of a relaxation effect, which is what I really wanted in a calming supplement.

Easily dispensable single-serving paste supplement. Tubes are not marked by horse weight - guidance is only to feed one whole tube per horse 5 hours before stressful activity. Ingredients include basic vitamins (including Biotin, Riboflavin, Calcium, Folic Acid and B12), as well as Magnesium and L-Tryptophan. Paste is flavored with anise, likely giving it a licorice taste palatable to horses.

I used this today for my gelding that has been on stall rest for the last 2 month. I gave him a full tube about 5 hours before tacking up. He was just calm, chill and happy! Zero naughtiness, happy Rider!

Had the typical calming ingredients found in many over the counter supplements. The 3 pack of ready to give tubes is convenient for on the go hauling or shows. Won’t work like RX drugs but usually nice to take the edge off.
