OK to be honest, this is my first ever set of wheel carriers, so I don't have a baseline to compare against.However, for storing wheels in a camper garage they seem more than robust. The wheels fit... just itcwas more the width of the tyre which is a hybrid on/light off road tyre with a disk brake 110 between the forks... there would no issue with a road wheel.More than happy, they suit MY application, so all good. The padding seems fine... which other people seemed to think was lacking.

I bought the 29" bags for my 27.5"+ and they held up just fine for a 10 hour trip. Like others have said, these are obviously not padded, but that was expected at this price point. I just wrapped my cassette and rotors before putting them in as to not damage the bag.The thickness of the bag was a surprise for me. It's thicker and feels more durable than what you'd expect from a run of the mill tarp at the hardware store. I will definitely be buying these again if I need them for another pair.

I didn't know these weren't padded, but now I understand why the price is lower. No big deal for me. I can add my own I guess. Padding is less of a concern honestly. More worried about scratches from direct contact. These will work just fine.

These are not padded but they work great for keeping my wheels protected while carrying them from place to place and for storing them when the other set are on the bike.

These are great, work as expected. Keep in mind that these are not padded, and likely can only sustain a limited amount of abuse. They fit basically any 700c road or gravel wheel set. I used it during a full cyclocross season, carrying around 700c x 33 or 35 mm wheel set. Going strong.
