Downgrading our old tan cork type trivets for high heat trays/pots and I didn't want silicone material. These are to cushion permanent things on our very white, very sensitive kitchen counters while matching our decor. Though the stitchings aren't perfect, they're soft yet firm, absorbent and washable.

Well made heat pads and they are easily moved and picked up. I like the black as it blends well with my kitchen, but the other colours are also attractive.

I bought these (gray) for a New Year's Eve party which was decorated in Silver and Black. These are a very pretty gray color - almost silver, so they looked great. They are a lovely fabric; almost "braided" type material. They held hot dishes beautifully. I really liked them.
