I got this to put on the shaft of the original electric motor for my golf cart, just trimmed off some of the aluminum housing where the power screws went in. It took a bit to get the stator and everything apart but once I did it said perfectly, of course I had to cut a keyway. The gear is a little heavier duty than what I expected the normal 420 chain wouldn't fit on it it was right spacing but the sprocket was a little thick so I had to grind it down a little bit I did this just by putting it on the shaft so that it could freeze fan and then took a grinder to it had a slight angle so it would spin it as it was grinding into to get it a fairly smooth grind got it down chain fits great car is running great.
