Item arrived with Styrofoam packaging damaged by rough handling, allowing the weight to shift and resulting in misalignment of the beams. The beams would not freely move. I loosened the large Nut holding the main mechanism in place and tightened it with correct alignment. This allowed the device to function correctly.I have not yet borrowed a calibration weight set to verify the accuracy of the device.
