it worked well for my trim cylinder caps (Yamaha 250 SHO) , at a fraction of the higher priced tools. I replaced the seals and they are nice and dry.....no more sheen in the water. Plus it has the tools for the TILT cap and the steering tube caps!!!!! I made my own part in the past and it was a real struggle. This works PERFECT! You will need it eventually if you're a DIY boat fixer like me. Or else you can spend thousands at the local shop if not.

This tool set is well made and did the job well. I had to remove the caps on my Yamaha outboard power trim cylinders. I highly recommend the tool.

Bought this to repair the lift cylinder on our 2012 evinrude 90 hp outboard. These spanners do not fit the end cap or piston spanner holes. NOT a happy camper. See if you can find an adjustable one.

Cheaply made Chinese product. Didn't fit my sea star steering glands as advertised. The pins are off by a millimeter or so. Spend the money and get the good ones made by ONI tools which I got now and fits perfectly or the ones made by Marine tech. Save yourselves some headache!
