The specs say that these sighst will work on ALL S&W E Series 1911s. I was dubious, because some E Series are the short, Commander Length (like mine) and others have full sized 5" slides. My original OEM sights got dim with age, so I bought these with my fingers crossed that the Point Of Impact (POI) for elevation would be correct. Rest assured that once you get them onto the slide, the resulting elevation POI will be spot on. As a plus, IMO, these sights look a bit nicer than the OEM sights. Buy with confidence.

Not for old eyes, got these sights for my S&W 1911 Performance Center Carry, I'm sure they are good for night shooting, but for day use for those of us with older eyes forget it, the dot size is about that of a pinhead,. If you need a night sight with good day sights for this weapon you might want to take a look at the Meprolight sights "Mako" a much bigger dot, cheaper than Trijicon and I like the rear sight visual much better than Trijicons, the warranty is the same 12 years and they are a much brighter night sight than the Trijicon.

Fits perfectly on my S&W 1911 ES. Makes the sight picture better for my old eyes. The dots are crisp and easy to pick up in low and no light situations. Would recommend these to any one with a 1911.

I purchased these for a S&W performance center 1911. They were a drop in exact fit. As far as quality of the lamps, etc. they're Trijicon. Enough said. After experiencing issues with other night sight manufacturers, Trijicon is on all of my pistols. I've never had a failure with Trijicon. I only wish they made them in the HD line. The HD Trijicon 1911 sights do not fit S&W. I know. I put them on my Ruger SR1911CMD after originally purchasing them for this gun.
