I was misled by the description into thinking that will fit my Walther PPQ Q5 Match. It did not and when I wanted to return it, they said it is not returnable. Very disappointing.

Excellent sights that are worth the moneyI installed these on my new Walther PPQ 45 yesterday. If you have the proper tools, they are easy to install. The front factory sight is removed with a small allen wrench & the new front sight requires blue Loctite & a small diameter 3/16" hex socket. The factory rear sight is removed per the instructions in the Walther manual, & simply requires depressing a spring loaded pin & sliding the factory sight out of its slot & then removing the windage screw with a very small flat head screwdriver. The new rear sight is then installed in the reverse order. The sights are approximately the same height but I used calipers to measure their max height from the bottom of the slide as a reference & the rear sight is 12/1000th of an inch taller than the front. Nonetheless, the point of impact at the range was identical to the factory sights at 25 feet using a "combat sight picture" with the front sight covering the target bulls eye. If you use a "6 o'clock sight picture" the shots will group slightly low. I highly recommend the orange front sight especially if you have older eyes like mine. I shot much more accurately with the Trijicon sights because the front sight is so much easier to see in good light. In darkness, the sights are brighter than the Meprolight sights I have on my other handguns & the highly visible front sight makes the Trijicon sights superior in daylight as well. The Trijicon sights are snug & there was no problem with change of impact after 200 rounds. The sights fit exactly as the factory sights did and adjust with the factory windage screw. Hopefully, this will clarify some of the issues noted in previous reviews. I recommend these sights highly & think they are worth the higher asking price than their competitors. Trijicon is also a domestic company which was an added plus for me. Good enough for our military is good enough for me!

-----------------------QUICK REVIEW-----------------------I had several choices for sights that were compatible with my Walther PPQ M2 9mm 4-inch pistol, from Dawson Precision, Trijicon, MeproLight, and 10-8 Performance. If you're not familiar with some of the names, do a quick internet search for them. I decided on the Trijicon HDs for several reasons, mainly reputation and their tritium lamps are warranted for 12 years from date of manufacture. The HD Night Sights were specifically created to address the needs of tactical shooters. The three dot green tritium night sight set’s front sight features a taller blade and an aiming point ringed in photoluminescent paint while the rear sight is outlined in black and features a wider U-shaped notch. This unique configuration increases visibility and quickens front sight acquisition—even in transitional lighting. Additionally, the front surface of the rear sight is steeply hooked to assist in emergency one-handed slide operationOverall the Trijicon HD Sights are very well built and great sights for any firearm. I do prefer these over the non-HD Trijicon Night Sights, but you can't go wrong either way.-----------------------INSTALLATION-----------------------Installing them was a breeze. Getting them back to a true zero was a bigger task since the rear sight is windage adjustable. You can do this manually at a range or get a BoreSight Laser for 9mm Luger.I was able to get mine to a close zero but my shots were slightly lower than I expected. After doing some research I figured why. The Trijicon HD sight is SLIGHTLY taller than the stock sight which resulted in a lower POINT OF IMPACT (POI) than my stock setup. I was able to adjust my shooting to compensate but this may be an issue for a lot of shooters, so beware of this.-----------------------INSTALL TOOLS REQUIRED-----------------------* .050 Allen Wrench - Search Amazon for Wiha 35393 Mini Inch Hex* 3/16 Nut Driver* Loctite 242 - Recommended NOT REQUIREDYou can also get all this stuff at a local Home Depot or Lowes.-----------------------TRIJICON HD SPECS-----------------------FRONT SIGHT0.144" width0.215" blade height0.254" overall heightREAR SIGHT0.169" notch0.125" blade height0.341" overall heightvs-----------------------PPQ M2 4" STOCK SPECS-----------------------FRONT SIGHT0.140" width0.180" blade height??? overall heightREAR SIGHT0.180" notch??? blade height0.315" overall height
