Economical to replace blades if the wiper arm is in good condition.

This is really a statement against the Trico/Amazon "this fits your vehicle." The blades likely work in other applications, but for the 2021 C8 Corvette, although the length is fine, I found problems after the installation, as follows:1) The Trico metal "ribs" are not curved and so the blades did not come in contact with the windshield across the entire blade length, and,2) There is no "notch" for the wiper arm to engage the blade to prevent slipping. The original curved "ribs" cannot be reused as 1) they do not come with the Trico "rib spikes" that hold the Trico blade from slipping and 2) without the "notch" in the blade it is possible that the blade can slip.In the end, I was not willing to see if the blades slipped (and risk scratching the windshield) and the lack of windshield coverage at the edges was not good.

Excelente opción para reponer los limpiaparabrisas sin necesidad de tener que comparar todo el mecanismo lo cual se me hace absurdo.Ojalá que fueran un pco más ecológicos y lo pudieran enviar sin tanto empaque.

These are perfect for real DIYers who are looking to save $$ by replacing the inserts vs the entire blade.I see many of the lowest reviews are from users who may have been looking for a simpler replacement or did not take the time to verify their existing vehicle has the same blades. If you're willing to invest a little time, these are great replacements and will save you money. I've been able to use these 2 years before replacing (southern California climate)First off - Make sure you actually check the existing wipers on your vehicle. Verify the existing wipers are the same shape and size including thickness. I wouldn't rely on the Amazon Vehicle guidelines - it may help, but it was incorrect for my vehicle. One of my cars needed an 8mm for the driver side and a 6mm for the passenger side. Another uses 8mm for both sides.Second - Be prepared for a little work. It is not a simple task to swap the inserts. You'll need to set aside 15 mins to complete everything without frustration. It take patience to cut/trim the inserts (and metal retainers) and then "thread" all three pieces (each insert has the wiper and two metal stiffeners) that must slide into multiple clips on the existing blades.

These wiper refills work very well. Adjusting the length was easy. I snapped-off the metal tensioner strips to the proper length. Then I cut the rubber about 1/4" longer with diagonal pliers. I much prefer this to having to try to inventory a bunch of different refill sizes!Beyond these steps, it was easy (or not so easy depending on your dexterity and facility with tools) to replace the existing rubber refills in my wiper blades. The hardest part of this job is removing the old refills. I find that large needle-nose pliers are very helpful for releasing the old refills. If you find this process too difficult then perhaps you should not be replacing your wiper blade refills? Have someone else do it for you, or buy replacement blades.Be sure to order the correct model for the cross-section of your blade.

First negative amazon experience. Described to fit my 2010 Ford Ranger, rubber profile way too large to fit in original OEM ford wiper blade.

These were not a good fit for my 2009 Honda Civic. They were smaller than the original wiper blades, and for a while they would slide several inches out of place during heavy use - I would have to push them back in when I stopped the car. In time, that problem stopped, but the wipers tended to be noisy. I actually used these for two years, because I am cheap and hate to waste anything. But by the end they were so noisy I couldn't stand it anymore. I bought genuine Honda refills recently to replace these, and it was definitely worth it. I'll buy Honda parts from now on - a little more expensive than these, but well worth it.

Bought these for my 2005 Corolla which had the standard square slide through openings. I measured the old blades with a micrometer and found they were 8mm. These fit perfectly. They come 2 to a package. $3.50 each? An outstanding price. They are made with what feels like high quality rubber. The blades are 26 inches long and made to be cut to most any length. They come with the metal strips that line both sides of each blade. The metal strips are scored every inch or so. You only need to bend them slightly and they break into the perfect length. After the metal is broken you only need to cut the excess rubber away with a pair of scissors. Very easy. If there is any problem with the fit, the slide through openings can be adjusted with the squeeze of a pair of pliers. I'm very environmental minded and hate to through away the entire blade and holder. Now it's just the blade in the trash. Love these.

I have a 2009 Honda Civic and my old wipers were coming apart. This refill fit perfectly and they were fairly easy to install. You just have to remember to keep all the pieces together as you push them into the slide. The wipers aren't the best quality, though. They do leave streaks, especially if there's not much to wipe away. I live in Southern California though, so it doesn't rain that often, and when it does, it's not much stronger than a light shower. It works alright for my uses, but I wouldn't recommend them if you're going to be driving in heavy rainfall or snow. But hey, they were super-inexpensive and they work!

I bought 2 pairs of these for use with a Ford and a Mazda. Both have narrow wipers of appropriate length and are supposed to be compatible with this product. The refills are just a tiny bit too wide (not more than 0.5mm or 1mm too wide) and that makes them 100% unusable. On the Ford, where I was lucky and I managed to squeeze the refills in it took FOREVER to get it right (I spent almost 30 minutes on the first wiper and about 15 on the second)On the Mazda, I just couldn't get it done. I had to use pliers to slightly widen the gap on the little metal pieces that are supposed to hold the refill just to get it through and ended up destroying my blades.I cannot think of a single good thing to say about this item!do yourself a favor and buy a different product.
