Trichogramma Egg Release Rates: For General Use: 1-2 per square foot each week during moth season. Per Acre: 50k-100k each week during moth season. NatureGoodGuys, a.k.a. Soldier Bugs, Trichogramma are very tiny insects; 5 adults can fit on the tip of a pencil. Once they hatch, the eggs will look exactly the same, the only way to see if they hatch is with a magnifying glass or microscope. Trichogramma are enemies of over 150 species of Lepidopteran Caterpillar and Moths. This package will supply you with approx. 10,000 - 12,000 or 100,000 Trichogramma Eggs glued on cards. Complete release instructions are included. These insects are biteless, stingless and go virtually unnoticed. Trichogramma Specie: T. brassicae - Works best for Cole/Cold Crops. Winter Crops. Trichogramma Specie: T. platneri/T. minutum - Works best on Tall Plants, over 6 ft tall. Trichogramma Specie:T. pretiosum - Works best on Short Plants, less than 6 ft. tall. LIFE CYCLE: Adults live anywhere from 7-14 days, but can build up to 30 generations per year. STORAGE: If necessary store unhatched pupa at 40-50°F. Do not store the unhatched pupa for more than 10 days.

The main issue I had with purchasing this product was the high shipping price( 1/3) the cost of the product for something that weighed less than a pound!

At first I thought the eggs were dead because I never saw the hatched insects. However after fighting pantry moths 2 summers with traps, cleaning, culling food that could possibly be harboring moth eggs and putting all food in sealed glass or hard plastic I tried these parasitic insects. I have not seen any more moths in traps for the last year since using this product.

A great product and the seller goes through great lengths to send the product on a weekday to ensure the eggs stay alive. After a devastating infection of months and much effort to get rid of them I now have no more moths in my kitchen, thanks to this product.

i got these to put in my pecan orchards. i have four orchards & approx 1000 trees i’ve had lots of problems with case bearer worms and because my trees are so big it’s hard to get to everything even with aerial sprays from my research, these little guys are supposed to work great the biggest mess is applying tanglefoot on the branch where you hang them so the ants don’t eat them but all in all a pretty easy process. i bought 30 strips and have them all hung in my trees. don’t know yet about the outcome but i’m hoping this natural remedy works. i’ll update this review in the fall when i see whatbkind of a crop i have.

maybe i'm stupid but did not understand how to use these or how they work. emailed the company and got a prompt reply giving info i think should have been in the package (but wasn't). i've followed instructions and not had any visible decrease in pantry moths. there are other products (reviewed elsewhere) that have made a difference in moths but these have not shown improvement.
