During normal operation, when added to engine oil, the nano flakes in TriboTEX attach to metal surfaces (sticky side down), particle by particle, leaving the slick sides facing outward. This product is compatible with all types of motor oil both conventional and synthetic and can be used in gas or diesel engines. TriboTEX treats all vehicles i.e. Ford F150, Toyota Camry, BMW 3 series, Dodge pickups and Chevy V8s. For motorcycles, lawn mowers and other small equipment use our small engine treatment. Sept22/2024. Okay so I bought two of the original tribotexs. I put it in my girlfriend's car first. A 15 Dodge journey 3.6L, it had 235,000 km. Did an oil change then put the tribo Tex in and let idle for 15. Then took it for ride and wow what a difference. So quiet and so smooth. She's put about 250 km on it today and she said to me I can't even tell if it's running when it's idling now it's so quiet. So I ended up putting some in my '08 Evo which has 205, 000 km on it. Now, all I've done is put it in. Let it idle for 15 minutes and drove it around the block and then put it in the garage. Just sitting in the garage before I turned it off It was so much quieter and smoother. I can't wait to actually start driving it a bit to see how much better it gets, as the journey is getting better the more you drive it. Is it actually reverse wearing? I don't know but I can tell you it sure appears that way by the smoothness and quietness they both are showing. One other thing, I didn't realize till I got them in the mail is it has a 6-month money back guarantee as well. That being said I can tell you already that I will probably be buying some more in the future. It's expensive, but I've hmmd and hawed over the last year about buying it, especially because of the price, but after using it I feel it's worth it. ***Update Oct 29/24. Gf's Dodge Journey now has over 2000km with the tribotex. I still can't believe the difference. My Evo only has 500km since adding the tribo tex so still need to drive it more to get the required mileage for full effect. I do notice the difference with mine albeit not as much as the gf. That being said, I've babied my car, always used synthetic and change the oil often. Whereas the girlfriend used conventional oil and was always over 10,000 km on her oil changes. Oh and she was using the cheapest oil filters and I was using the better ones. So I feel it has worked for both of us but clearly hers had more damage and hence the bigger noticeable difference. One other thing I wanted to mention was I live in Canada so I ordered it off of Amazon to avoid all the extra fees(duty tariffs US$ to Canadian$conversion) associated with ordering things from the states. Just easier!

I bought this products not because my engine is noisy, but to see its effectiveness. I used it on Chev 5.3L V8. It’s been over 2 months so any placebo effect should not be a factor. I did notice after few weeks of driving, my fuel economy got better, on average I’m getting around 80 kms (50 miles) more to full tank, without changing my driving habits. I did notice slight improvement in torque and acceleration is slightly better. This indicates overall compression had to improve and oil pressure is also better. My only complaint is price, this 4 stars, but seems to be effective. I will buy this again.

Estoy muy contento con el producto. Mi coche tiene 226.000km y yo lo conduzco desde hace 110.000km. Nunca ha sonado ni respondido tan bien como ahora después de aplicar el producto. Desde que uso el coche sonaba a rateo (al anterior propietario se le rompió el carter en un badén enorme), como si picara bielas, y ahora ya no hace ese ruido. Hace unos años me pasé con el nivel de aceite y desde entonces me echaba bastante humo al acelerar fuerte. Ahora ya no veo el humo. Hace unos 2000km que eche el tribotex con el cambio el aceite y cada vez va mejor. El sonido es más redondo, la mayor compresión se nota al hacer freno motor y la aceleración me saca una sonrisa. A mi sin duda me ha funcionado.

I have a 2001 Subaru Outback with a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder and the last couple of years the drivers side head has been clattering and has been getting worse as time goes by. To the point where I was giving thoughts of selling the car or getting the engine rebuilt. I thought well what the heck maybe I can look into some oil additives to quite it down until at least next spring and I might try to rebuild it myself to save money. I stumbled upon Tribo TEX on Amazon and read the spec's and reviews and even though this stuff is not cheap I gave it a shot. So I changed the oil and filter even though it was not due just because it made sense to me. (By the way I recommend maybe mixing it up with say a quarter quart oil before squeezing it into the oil filler neck and maybe heating the oil and Tribo TEX in the micro wave or pan on the stove until it dissolves together. I changed the oil at 40 degrees outside and had some issue with the Tribo TEX sticking to the filler neck.) I ran the car at idle on jacks for about an hour while I looked for an anti freeze leak, and then finished up and parked it in my detached garage overnight. I drove the car the next day about 23 miles and I already have noticed a big difference. Not only has the noise become a lot quieter but I believe it has more get up and go, and it seems to be running smoother. Now two days later I started the car this morning and the outside temp was about 15 degrees, the engine did clatter at first but quieted down pretty quickly and I now have about 50 miles on it since adding the Tribo TEX. The literature says it takes 500 miles before it is completely through all the bearing surfaces properly. So my opinion is this stuff is appearing to be worth the money and I am already discussing putting it in my wife's car, my 6.0 liter turbo diesel truck, and my big block V8 7.3 liter boat engine.
