For the price and compact size this is a great sounding speaker, nice deep bass and bright highs.Durable casing, not cheap. Paired with my iPad and iPhone in a snap.For under $30 you can’t go wrong.

I spent a few hours researching the best midground for the cheapest speaker that can fill a room without any noticeable shortcomings in audio quality. This is what I landed on, and it hasn't yet disappointed me. While others made comments about lacking bass, I found it quite sufficient.It has:- Worked in the shower without any damage or loss in quality- Played for at least 12 hours and only lost 50% battery (was not measuring the time, over multiple sessions)- Provided good, loud music playback in a number of indoor settings without any defects- Continued playing despite me walking to the opposite side of the house with my phone in my pocketSoftware: Equalizer is highly customizable, and it can automatically turn off after receiving no audio for a while, or stay on indefinitely.So overall, good connectivity, good battery, good quality, good durability, good portability, without issues for my use cases. I recommend purchasing if you require a small speaker for general use.

Got this speaker on oct/2018 and for six and half years it delivered a good sound.Today it just stops charging and i had to put it alway.For the price it`s great and durability is good too.

Every speaker has conditions under which it works best. The JBL Flips sound better on the table. This baby on the other hand sounds amazing on the floor. Just place it on the floor you will think it’s a much larger speaker, sounds incredible. Great bass, dynamic mids and beautiful highs.Just buy it.

I wanted to really like this - the sound quality is pretty impressive I have a number of small speakers like this and the quality is on par if not better than the others (granted some are 7-8 years old). The main frustration I have with the speaker is that the volume cannot be consistently controlled from the device, only from the speaker. It works sometimes... and then others not. Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. When it happens, sometimes I can fix it by forgetting the device and re-pairing. Sometimes that doesn't work. So I can't figure out why it stops working or how to reliably fix it. None of the other speakers or devices I have, have this problem. If I can't figure out the magic to it, will likely return it.UPDATED:Ok, I needed to update this… I had been working with the company on trying to solve the issue with the volume (tl;dr - turns out it was a new version of the app, not the speaker). The company was willing to authorize a return but they really wanted to try to fix the problem. They sent me a firmware update, which wasn’t easy to install but that mattered less over time anyway. I really like the speaker. So more about that…One of the listening places is the shower (see picture). When I first started I would just put the speaker on the top of that chrome frame, which didn’t work the best. Of course the speaker vibrates a bit and it took a fall on more than one occasion. Sometimes it would fall on the tile floor of the bathroom, sometimes it would fall in the shower and get wet. Over a 6 foot drop onto the tile floor or in the shower and it held up just fine. I now have a shelf in the shower...The volume is impressive, I’ve used it outside a bit and on occasion keep it in my pocket if I’m moving around. I wouldn’t say it’s meant to be a pocket speaker, but it fits and it works. I’ve grown to like this speaker so much I wanted to order another one to try to play them in stereo mode. Now this is 6 months after I bought the first one. I ordered another and I couldn’t pair them – turns out after 6 months there was a new version and they weren’t compatible. The company offered to send me a new one… So they replaced my 6 month old speaker that was dropped in the shower with a new one. And now stereo mode works just fine.If I had to find on nit with the speaker... the cover that closes over the charging point is *very* robust, so when closed completely is hard to open. The plus side, nothing is getting in there (e.g. water) but if when I close it completely I need something to pry it open.But now I have two, my wife uses the second one more than I get to use it in stereo mode, but still happy to have both. Buy it for the speaker or buy it for the customer service – either is worth 5 stars.

Looking for a robust cheap waterproof speaker for using at work/in shed etc, saw a decent review of this on CNET I think, and for the price the sound quality is remarkable as well as durability and battery life. It's not 'hi-fi' but compared to similar sized offerings i've heard from ue, JBL, bose, Samsung it's equal if not better audio performance for 1/4 the price. In terms of bang for buck, probably unbeatable.

I bought this speaker to go with our Echo Dot because I had heard that the Dot speaker is nice, but not great. I couldn't be happier with that decision! The speaker on the Dot is ok, but it's not good enough to use when we have people over, while we're outside playing, or while we're swimming. This little speaker is AMAZING!!! It charges quickly, the charge lasts through all day use and it is LOUD! And loud in a good way! We listen to all types of music - rock, rap, r&b, country, pretty much anything - and the sound quality is spot on, no matter what type of music we're listening to! The other day I connected the speaker to my phone and played some music from the Amazon music app while we were in the pool. I left my phone on the porch, about 50-55 feet away, so it wouldn't get wet and had the speaker on a table right next to the pool. It never lost the signal from my phone and at about a little over half the volume it was loud enough to be heard over the kids (and I have a 3 year old and an 11 year old that don't believe in talking, they prefer yelling), the pool filter running and an attachment we have for the pool that turns the clean water from the filter into a fountain that gets pretty noisy. We were in the pool for about 2 hours and the speaker got pretty wet from all the splashing (though it never got totally soaked or submerged) and it's still working like it was brand new. What I was most concerned about was it's ability to survive being dropped or whacked against something pretty hard because my 3 year old can be brutal to toys, or pretty much anything she gets her hands on! So far, it's been dropped at least 3 times, knocked into the wall twice while she was holding it and dancing/spinning and sat on about 5 times because she always ends up leaving it on the couch or chair (both of which are dark brown) instead of a table and sure enough someone (including my 140lb self) ends up plopping down on it. No damage to the speaker AT ALL!!! For spending just under $30 I feel like we got more than our money's worth! If I do one day have an issue with the speaker, I'm fairly confident this seller's customer service would be more than helpful with resolving any problems. I say this because they reached out to me after I bought the speaker to thank me for my purchase and to provide their contact information should I have any questions, concerns, or issues. About a week after I received the speaker they touched base with me once more to thank me again for the purchase, to say they hoped that I was happy with the product and to let me know that they were always available to help in any way possible. Now I know that actions speak louder than words, but since I have been more than happy with this speaker I have had no reason to put their "always here to help" claim to the test. If I should ever have to contact customer service in the future, I will update my review. I apologize for the length of my review, but I'm just so happy with this little speaker! I usually don't leave reviews because most of what I purchase on Amazon turns out to be just what I expected, no more and no less. But I've been so impressed by this Tribit speaker that I felt I had to share my experience. I hope this is helpful to anyone trying to decide if they should click that purchase button on this item. If you do, I sincerely believe that you will not be disappointed!!! 😄
