Although this are a great product be wary of place your obtaining it from according to someone it all depends on “stuff” you are getting it doesn’t always get where it needs to be in one day. Ride quality improved 100%, took about 1 hour to install at home . No modifications needed for fitment. Sorry I couldn’t really express myself like I wish. I will get censored … can’t really say how you feel …

These worked out perfect for my 2021 f250 4x4. I tow a fifth wheel for vacations and a car hauler for carshows. I am happy with the control of the rear suspension while towing and the ride when not towing.

Love the shock, it made a huge difference in ride on my 2017 F-350 DRW FX4. The factory Rancho's were done for sure and I replaced them with these on the rear and the remote reservoir 5160's on the front. One side went on easy as pie, but if you are like me and have an aftermarket B&W gooseneck hitch in the bed, the passenger side is not a lot of fun. The mounting bracket for the hitch covers up the upper shock mount and unless you want to take off the bed and the hitch mount, your other option is taking a sawzall to the stud and drilling out what's left. I went with the latter option and burned through a couple drill bits then just put a grade 8 bolt through it all.

Significantly smoother than stock. Should have done this when I first bought my truck

I rarely buy a ford truck that I don't immediately upgrade the shocks on. In the past I have tended towards Fox 2.0 shocks but thought I would give the 5100's a try given strong reviews. They are valved differently than the Fox 2.0 which I found was great for washboard roads. The Bilstein 5100 are firm and do provide a noticeable change in drive feel. They do not handle the small road imperfections as well as the Fox but they do very well when loaded (Trailering) and at highway speeds. These are two areas where the firm ride really pays off. As for the install the rears are a breeze very simple, the fronts well not as easy but not overly challenging. In order to torque the top nut you will need an Allen wrench to hold the shaft from rotating while you torque the top nut. This can be a bit challenging but if you have the correct wrench (no socket) and the Allen key it will go pretty smoothly. The nut has a autostop on it that will prevent you from over tightening it.

Install was easy, replaced oem with these and very happy. Smooth ride, less bounce. Perfect all around. I’ve also installed the Bilstein steering damper.
