My PC wouldn't run "Your Phone" on my iPhone, had worked fine with the Android phone. It turns out that my Bluetooth adapter was obsolete. I pulled it out and put this one in, within a few minutes the "Your Phone" app worked again!

This device does NOT work with Windows 10!!! The software is terrible! The Bluetooth devices can see the PC but the software will not work so I can not pair them. My advice - save yourself a lot of anger and frustration and buy a USB Bluetooth USB dongle for some other company.

Buscaba un conector para usar un control (WiiU ProController) en mi computadora, funciona de manera excepcional, no se desconecta, no tuve ningún problema con compatibilidad ni con drivers (Windows 10), y el sistema lo reconoce al momento.Cabe mencionar que no hay ningún tipo de lag o retraso en la conexión durante los juegos (De momento usando solo 1 mando), tampoco errores al presionar varios botones simultáneamente, así que estoy satisfecho con la compra, y lo recomiendo si lo que buscan es darle un uso parecido al que les comento.Como ultimo comentario, no lo recomiendo para lo que son transferencias de archivos, ya que es muy lenta en comparación a otros métodos. Si ese es su propósito, recomiendo el uso de mejor un cable USB, o una APP para usar el teléfono como un servidor FTP, que es mucho mas rápido para esta tarea.

This is a prime example of software ruining decent hardware. It's small and blends into the back of the PC nicely if you don't need to move it. The led can be annoying if its in your line of sight, but that's rarely been the case for me.I bought this to use a PlayStation controller as a PC game pad and it is great for that - note that doing so requires you to uninstall the actual Bluetooth drivers. Prior to setting that up, I figured I would use it to transfer some files from my phone and laptop, but that turned out to be a disaster. Windows 10 had difficulty recognizing it and as many others have noted, and the included software seemed to have serious licensing issues. Eventually I just gave up with that and set it up as the controller receiver. In that role, it has been great - connects fast, seems to have good range, no real issues with lag.

I bought this to connect my ps3 controller through Bluetooth with Motioninjoy, cause I got tires of using it's defaultusb since it was too short, if you want to connect your ps3 controller to your pc without the usb cable, this will do the trick with Motioninjoy since it's compatible, I already tested this on the 0.7.0001 drivers, and it works perfectly.I'm guessing the makers of this dongle built this for the main to connect the ps3 controller since it connected to well with the ps3 controller flawlessly(if you know the procedure), I can't verify if thus will work with anything other than a ps3 controller, anything passive or casual like a speaker or etc, all I know is that this baby works with ps3 controllers, and nothing else, and for a very convenient price, these are one of the very few dongles that can connect a ps3 controller to a pc correctly, because most Bluetooth adapters are not compatible with Motioninjoy. This thing deserves five stars on my behalf.Nice work trendnet :)

Software:Let me first say, do not follow the instructions provided by the packaging that state "Do not install the device until instructed to do so"You do not need to use the Software Provided, this BT device will be fully supported by Microsoft's own drivers it picks up from Windows Update.I installed as instructed and eventually had to restore my system and manually point to the correct drivers to make it work.Meanwhile I tested the theory that the provided software was useless by simply plugging in the device to a new PC, Microsoft Windows Update located and installed the drivers automatically and works great.The software in the package is version 5.XXX, This is very unstable and crashed multiple times on Windows 7 x64. On bluesoleil website, you'll find that version 9 is available to customers who have version 5.XXX, but I haven't yet figured out the whole "Free" thing... which seems to be the biggest complaint against this Blue Soleil company. I think TrendNet made a mistake partnering with this company, and it is making their product looks bad.Support:Support is provided from 9:00AM to 7:00PM Beijing Time...So, getting someone to help at a feasible time is impossible. I didn't bother.Hardware:The BT Adapter is small, powerful, and with Bluetooth 4.0 capable devices is also fast.I purchased this alongside a Bluetooth OBD2 Scanner Adapter to check vehicle performance and data while on the move and it performs flawlessly.

This adapter offers decent range at an affordable price. It has a blinking blue light, which can be annoying but it isn't too noticeable. I bought this adapter to use my PS3 controllers via bluetooth. Using this adapter, you can connect up to 4 controllers via Bluetooth. Before you can use your controller through bluetooth, you need to install the MotioninJoy DS3 tool, then load and install the MiJ driver onto the adapter and your controller. Keep in mind that once the bluetooth adapter has been set up with MiJ, it will only work for PS3 controllers and cannot be used for any other devices. (Although this can be reversed by rolling back to the original driver.) If you're trying to get a generic/3rd party controller to work, make sure you have MiJ version 0.6.0005 (current new versions don't support them). The last thing that needs to be done is to configure the controller. You'll probably want to use your PS3 controller as an Xbox 360 controller, since it is compatible with most games. To do this, select the Xbox 360 mode option and click enable. Everything works great once it's all set up. Make sure you open up the DS3 tool program to use your "Xbox 360" controller and don't forget to keep your controller charged.
