The six inch or so spacing of the netting is enough to easily allow the plants to vine upward with enough support.
Please note that some care must be taken in unraveling the net when taken straight from the bag so that it will unfold neatly, without snarling.
Horizontally
This netting with slip ties makes a scrog system very easy to implement.
A-frame
A-frame support is the best method for growing cucumbers and squash.
Vertically
Grow climbing plants vertically using this net to avoid a ground touch, making them less prone to disease.

I used two of these for my 12X2 raised garden bed for pea plants to climb. The pea plants seem to be happy with the trellis rope.The product is very durable and was easy to put up, it unfolded easily out of the box without any tangling. I anticipate being able to take these down and reuse them for multiple seasons as they seem to be holding up well in the elements.

Now that is inplace it works great, strong to hold peas we has with a PVC structure I made. Large enough holes to allow your had through to get at hard to reach peas in this case. It took a while to untangle the netting we received. It came wrapped in a ball that had to be strung out over the lawn to get to the end and string it up. Otherwise I would buy again.

Love this trellis. Easy to use and come with mess free folding so it does get tangled. Sure it will be good for 1 season.

This netting was quite jumbled up inside the bag and challenging to untangle. In the end I cut away half of it. The section I was able to use worked well.

We used tomato cages for our peas and it didn't work out so well. We bought this for the beans. We bought 4 2x2's and hammered them in the ground. Then we wrapped the netting around all 4 pieces of wood and stapled the netting to it - this is where we had a bit of difficulty as it would get tangled up - but it was not too hard to get it untangled especially when we cut it down to the size we actually needed. The beans are growing up it and so far its doing a great job supporting the beans.Next year we will be buying this for the peas
