I have used the more expensive version of this item sold by brand name such as Buckingham and aside from the hefty price the utilitarian difference is the same. The item I purchased here is well made with real rawhide leather straps and ankle guards with a 2” solid iron spike well secured to a solid steel 1/4” steel shank. All the leather strapping is riveted secured and the leather straps sealed.
