This is alright. My almost 6 year old enjoys this kind of toy for a little while, then generally doesn’t go back to it…. So, really this is a one hit wonder. This shark is $19, it’s comparable to the Zuru Smashers Horror House ($20-$30 each set) kind of toys- which also were one hit wonders for my guy….. he greatly enjoys these things for a few hours or good part of a day and then the toy just takes up space and he doesn’t pay it any mind ever again. However, this shark being $19 and occupying him for a few or more hours IS worth it to me, so all and all, we were happy enough while the fun lasted!!This was just as expected with the slime and little toys, not too hard for him to open & wasn’t as messy as the Zuru Smashers.

I don’t know what it is, but kids LOVE these types of products. If you ask me, it’s a plastic piece of junk but my 5.5 year old would tell you otherwise. This was one of his favorite activities- opening up all the little surprise packages of slime, sand, figures. He brings the figures and shark into the tub with him. The figurines are actually made pretty well and they are kinda cute. I think this is fun for kiddos 4 and up. The value for your money will be determined by how much fun your 5, 6, 7 year old has and that will surely be a 10/10. Shark can be used to carry and store everything. Would recommend for about 5 ish to 8 years old.

My 7 year old loves getting these kits. It looked a little small compared to others, but it was perfect. They had fun going through the bags. There were a variety of different slimes/materials to dig through. My kids thought the characters were fun. (My 7 and 10 year old were picking who gets what.) The actual "case" was my 7 year olds favorite. He slept with it and took it to school multiple times because he loved it so much. I feel like they got a little more play out of these than some of the other sets we have gotten. My kids say 5 stars!

This is the first time trying one of these types of toys and it’s a huge hit with my slime loving kid. This item is packaged well and appealing to kids. Kids need to find packages within the slime/guts of the shark. Then comes the excitement of seeing what is inside all the packages - pieces to make little figures. There is also a treasure chest filled with gemstone treasures! My kid did need help opening the packages and putting the figures together, but she’s not yet 5, but she did love the slime and all the surprises inside. The initial opening is the most fun part, but hoping the kid will use the items for future play as well.Fair value for the cost of $20, but wouldn’t pay more than that. Company seems to make a bunch of similar products so it could be fun to get a few and compare.

My 5 year-old liked this, it was fun to open and find things in the slime. Most of the stuff that counts as the surprises are little pieces of junk, like stringy things or little coins, stickers. He did keep the figurines that came out of it and liked putting them together. Hasn't gone back to it though after first opening it all.

I recently got my hands on the Treasure X Mega Shark Dissection set, and I have to say—it was an absolutely thrilling experience! This toy delivers on every level, from the moment you open the box to the satisfying assembly of the treasures inside.Opening the Mega SharkThe first step of the adventure was tackling the massive 12-inch shark. It was an impressive sight, with its large chomping jaw just waiting to be explored. Opening it felt like a dissection mission straight out of a treasure-hunting story! I followed the easy instructions and carefully popped open the shark's body to reveal the hidden surprises within. The packaging itself was sturdy and well-designed, enhancing the excitement as I worked through each layer.Discovering the Slime-Covered PackagesOnce inside, I was greeted by several mysterious packages with contents covered in slime—an unexpected (and super fun!) twist. The slime was sticky but not too messy, and it added a sensory element to the whole process that made it even more immersive. Each package was sealed, so I had to dig through the slime to retrieve them. It was so satisfying to pull out the shiny, colorful packages one by one, knowing treasures awaited inside.Unveiling the TreasuresInside the packages, I found pieces to assemble little action figures and other cool treasures. Each figure was unique, with intricate details that really brought them to life. One of my favorite finds was a golden sword that had a polished finish—it looked like something straight out of a pirate movie! Another highlight was a tiny, detailed treasure chest that opened to reveal hidden gems inside.I also found a quirky little sea creature companion for the figures—it looked like a mix between a crab and a robot, adding a fun sci-fi element to the collection. The shark itself transforms into a playset, with features like a snapping jaw that made the whole unboxing experience feel like it wasn’t just a toy but an interactive adventure.Final ThoughtsI absolutely loved this set! The combination of dissecting the shark, digging through slime, and assembling the treasures made it one of the most engaging unboxing experiences I’ve ever had. If you or your kids love surprises, creativity, and a bit of mess, this set is perfect. Highly recommended for both kids and adults who are young at heart.

The kids were very excited to open all the packs and play with the slimes. All the slime comes in zipper foil bags, which made it a little difficult to get out, but once it was time to pack up, it was kind of nice for storage. We have way too many containers of slime that take up a lot of space. The toys were super fun to play with, but the little green noodles or snakes or whatever they are, end up everywhere. My son likes playing with the little guys that come with it, but the shark head comes apart really easily, so I'm always having to fix it for him. Overall, it's a pretty fun toy for the kids, but I'm not a fan of the mess (slimes and noodles) that comes with it and the large plastic shark that everything comes in ends up not being played with, so its a large piece of garbage that I'm not sure is recyclable
